Q3 update – no material change to underlying trading

FX headwinds aside, there has been no material change to underlying trading at Tate since H1, with FY 2018 guidance (constant currency) maintained. We remain ‘Neutral’; on the stock until sustainable volume growth at SFI becomes evident. On balance, we feel the tone of Tate’s Q3 statement was less enthusiastic than its half-year release.

On first look, our FY 2018 and FY 2019 EPS forecasts will nudge lower for FX (GBP/USD spot rate of 1.39) by c.1.5% and c.5.4% respectively.

One of the questions asked where they approx saw net debt at the year end,
the answer appeared to be a bit below £400 M, at least that was my interpretation.
Net debt was 380 Million at HQ.
