Agreed, one offsets the other perception wise, and the sales side is merely a timing issue IMO....DYOR

Really grest news on the labour agreement at Gib and as sithuk speculated there will be a sales timing impact in Q4 due to the recent flooding, importantly no impact on production just the 3rd party rail infrastructure. I doubt the market will provide us with a top up opportunity but lets see.

Thanks. So it's ADVFN's financial info which is incorrect. I thought it was too good to be true! Mcap 428m

Plenty of time to refinance 2026 notes IMO, even get Flo up and earning $s and then pay it down totally even better....DYOR

Totally agree, bemused by lack of interest here. As you say, patience as full permitting hopefully received, build out and cash flows start appearing! DYOR

Unbelievable it’s still below recent highs on all markets.
As the permit process works through over the next 2 months Florence will slowly get factored into the valuation here.
If copper does it’s stuff then the only way is up.

I was amazed that I could add at £1.51 during the morning, there was no reaction to the news (granted it was a formality). Flying now across the pond!

Good news on the permit. Anyone know whether there has been any impact to operations from the rail line closures to Vancouver port?

Draft permit received, 2 week review followed by public consultation. As previously posted for state govt permits already issued we have already had a public consultation. All on track for an early 2022 construction start!

Thanks Pughman, yes looks like a deal may have been reached, they usually are as common sense tends to prevail.
QS99 - you do like ATYM!! Of course stocks drift on no news but the price catalysts awaiting us here are much greater than over at ATYM. Also, i think TKO is valued on 3 times EV/EBITA on Gib alone so for me personally i will continue to add here on any price drift as for me this is a 3-5 year investment.

Good weekends all

I'll start off with the good news Rimau1, just for you. There appears to be a resolution to the prospective strike. We have yet to discover if there has been any interruption to Gibraltar's running, with the catastrophic flooding in BC.

Pughman, you seem a half cup empty type. Your remark “i see further delays” delays to what exactly? We have no idea what the issue is (pay, working conditions, shift patterns, contract) but the unions are going back to the table. I think 3/4 of the Gib workforce are unionised, these things happen from time to time.

The workforce have voted to strike. I'm not surprised, with management boasting their costs are less than Chilean competitors. I see further delays and a significant pay increase awarded.

I listened in on the Q3 results call, and i am more bullish as a result.
Gibraltar 2022 expect flat production but confident of upside risk. Input cost inflation being managed. Plenty of copper floor hedging at $400/lb will do more if economics make sense.
Current Gib reserve estimates are at $275/lb and working on updating this. 500m ton reserves at Gib we have another 500m of potential reserves. So long term potential significantly greater than the official 17 year end of mine life.
On the permit - after issued there is a 45 day public consultation period and a public hearing will take place 30 days into this. TKO are very bullish that this is a slam dunk because a public consultation and review already took place last year for the state permitting process and this raised no concerns. There is no official plan B or contingency they are full throttle progressing with Flo
Thats the main points.
