Can anyone help identify how much debt Taseko has? Looks like 400m USD loan notes, 50m USD senior debt and 75m USD in cash? So 375m USD net debt?

Any tip is helpful but InvestorPlace seems completely ignorant of Florence!

Any thoughts on how we value TKO currently? If Gibraltar can churn out c115m pounds a year and Florence 85m pounds then that gives us 200m pounds per year. If costs at Gibraltar are let's say $2.20 per pound and it's $1.10 at Florence that averages out at c$1.75. If copper price averaged $3.75 per pound that gives us a rough profit of $2 per pound or about $400m per year. Obviously we expect copper to be much higher than that but let's see...

Yes financing secured without further dilution which i think was holding the price back post Flo approval. I have too many of these but its a great entry point if you like the long term copper story.

Super update today, looks like all the pieces of the jigsaw are in/nearly in...DYOR, just need copper price to start rising into 2024 and this should be materially higher. DYOR

Great quarterly update yesterday and sounds like TKO is bullish on Q4 prospects in terms of production. Just need copper prices to pick up a little :)

Wow, the market really reacted to this important news!?

Taseko Mines Announces that the UIC Permit for Florence Copper is now Effective

VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 31, 2023 - Taseko Mines Limited (TSX: TKO) (NYSE American: TGB) (LSE: TKO) ("Taseko" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the US Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") has confirmed that no appeals have been received and Florence Copper's final Underground Injection Control ("UIC") permit is now effective.

Stuart McDonald, President and CEO of Taseko, commented, "Successful completion of the UIC permitting process is a result of Taseko's long-term development approach, and the quality and environmental integrity of the project. Taseko is now in a unique position, with one of the very few fully permitted mining projects in North America. With the final permit in hand, we have a clear line of vision to commercial production and are that much closer to realizing the full value of Florence Copper."

I know the feeling, I'm too glass half full, terrible for investing haha.

Now Flow is OK'd tho, and with Copper price holding up, with supply shortages world wide IMO going to keep it at a decent level, TKO just looks super value....DYOR etc.

Yes DX. was ace, made the call pre-suspension, topped up afterwards.....don't get many situations like that.

Latest top up was in Equals if you like that sort of thing. Been in it for ages....latest presentation is well worth listening into. Also bought SPI this week as private health care is only going to increase I reckon as NHS continues to struggle.

cheers

I'm much better now QS! I stopped posting here because i started to get a little sheepish being overly bullish on a permit that was taking forever. Back now though. Last year i thought we should re-rate to £1.90 on Flo approval so some way to go albeit Copper was much stronger! (O/T Well done on DX too, i hold there as well).

Hi rimau1 how are you? I agree. THE muted reaction is hilarious, but allowed me to buy a shed load more this morning I suppose on the bright side! DYOR

Hard to believe lol, i read it, then read it again just to make sure. 10% bounce is nice QS99, never in doubt! Transformational is a term overused but this is indeed transformational.

Feel like it's just a matter of time until UIC permit granted. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Hoping that copper being on the US critical minerals list helps to push the permitting process over the line a bit quicker.

Any views on latest RNS? Surely IMO they wouldn't have this signed for the cultural side post permitting if they were not intending on providing the permitting? DYOR

https://seekingalpha.com/article/4629749-taseko-mines-waiting-final-uic-permit-florence-copperGood summary of position for Taseko. Interesting that the author thinks once Florence is permitted and gets going it would be worth several times current price.

Hi Rimau; with copper recently making a series of higher-highs and higher-lows it’s a shame TKO are not yet joining in. I also have a fair holding in Atalaya, do you patiently track other Cu miners in safer jurisdictions?

Lots of detail today. Encouraging update production wise H2 should be strong high higher grades and lower AISC. Flo permit is almost there but with tangible actions in this update “ On June 12, 2023, the EPA issued the Programmatic Agreement ("PA") for signature which is a key step required to finalize the NHPA Section 106 process and precedes issuance of the final UIC permit.” At Yellowhead TKO are advancing the environmental assessment and undertaking engineering works.
