I think it's just as well that they didn't pay out excess cash as some were asking for on these boards. It's good to have a buffer for what might be a difficult year ahead with the Corona virus impacting both supply chains and consumer confidence.

For investors less clued up upon tandem, ask for a breakdown of staff numbers over the past 5 years to date, I bet these guys are running absolutely bare bones, no slack if things go bad and none to take on new opportunities to grow.
Whatever the numbers are remove the directors from the total.

Tiger, I'd be knocking on the door daily given your large stake in the business, ask for a tour of every part of tameside drive, I think it might be an eye opener for you, hopefully if this lot get a bid for a buy out you will realise some decent cash for your investment, if not I'd personally be trying to panic sell my entire stake ( if I hadn't already!)

Tiger, yes i am aware of their operation down there, they are backed up by utterly useless websites, with bad links/images and product, also where are these sites visible? No promotion or anything spent on google ad words from what I can see. I would bet my original stake in Tnd that 95-99% of their sales are driven through Amazon.
They paid a fortune for some good brands that cannot have given a profitable return to date- just look at the excellent Carp Zone brand- gently brushed under the carpet simply because they have no interest in it and no experience in buying or selling the product, it is clear to see they have no vision for growth - loads of lost opportunities- this could be a titan of a business given a b.o.d with a passion for sales, growth a vision and importantly staff that know what they are talking about- look at the reviews on the web for expressco- absolutely shocking. Glad I'm out.

Whatever happens re supply its a blip in the history of a company.

I remain of the opinion this is massively undervalued

There is far more to Tandem than just bikes nowadays and the busy months for bike sales are in the warmer months from May and before Christmas so supply should mostly be back to normal by then.
Results are next month so hopefully management can update us all then.
