Joe: Good luck buddy!
I've read NT2 and think he viws losses a bit like problems in projects: as a project manager there's a flip side for rejoicing when you find a problem cos you've found it today: if you hadn't, it was still there to be found next week when you had less time to deal with it! In similar vein, Naked Trader "takes the hit" on losses.
Never the less, I'll miss your posts. Feel free to get in touch using my email and/or carry on posting here!

Drk - thanks. sync was a slow release bitter pill - without any sugar coating!
I still don't know how that nok deal got through any semblance of due diligence or appraisal techniques. Still, the City got their fees, and CB got his bonuses!
Yes, I will stick to stronger balance sheets. I don't mind debt as long as there are profits first.
Will check out those ones you mention. good luck.

Myraid will no doubt have the numbers required for the deal to go through in the timescale.

Nobody in the absence of anything else in the interim will not pledge their shares to Myriad as the only offer on the table at this time.

Doing anything else in that situation is ludicrous.

All Sync shareholders at that point will have little choice. That is widely known and understood.

Talking of the deal falling through - well the ONLY way I can envisage that is if another player beats Myriads offer and Fidelity et al break ties with Myriad.

Joe - well all the best in your future endevours.

Had a feeling you had sold like so many. Strange as the wider market has piled in buying huge at circa 13 pence.

Still awaiting those RNS's.

I am in SUMM lots of talk of a T/O or deal in the near (?) future and recently bought back into ENRT on the back of a large GBP 200,000 large investment by one of the new BOD. DYOR etc.

Good luck to you.

Hello

I know i am a bit late in this posting but....

I received my letter from Barclays on Monday outlining the two choices I have.
1. Accept the offer for all your shares
2. Retain all your shares.
"Myriad intends to procure that sync shares are cancelled from the LSE AIM."
"Please be aware that you may have difficulties trading shares when they are not listed and thereforethere is no guarantee that you will realise aby value from the shares at a later date."

Is there any point in NOT accepting the offer (i paid 96p each for 7K worth so they are almost worthless if i were to sell at these levels).

I VERY rarely sell any of my holdings, and invest long term.

If you believe Myriad, acquiring SYNC will lessen the value of their business, profits and outlook.....and ultimately share price, I feel you are looking perhaps too short term, and missing the whole purpose of their acquisition.

Some of us are not T traders, and are shrewd, successful investors.

Risk is all around us, whereas balanced risk/reward is a little more predictable sometimes.

Santtangello, tell me now what price do you hope to get for the Myriad shares when you get them?
Do you hope that the Swiss MM's hold t at 4.5 as millions and millions Cdi's flood the market from Sync holders?
I dont think so.
Add in the Admin risk, also the risk of the bid not getting enough support and lapsing.
It's quite easy to see why this is trading at this level.
Risk free it is most certainly is not.

Agreed it does not - amazed by the actions of some PI's.

Massive buying at 13 pence area is a significant buy signal.

Oldtown you are a seasoned investor - although you think Myriad friend's are buying. 30% could be easily achieved by a player - then they are obligated to make an offer for the rest of the Share Capital I understand.

If they have bought at 13 pence then they have to offer at least that in the offer document cash component - plus more cash and shares in addition.

Joe - have you sold down and out like your mate Dallo on LSE?

I'm adding all the way up to 13/13.25p.......

I have been truly amazed that so many sells (O.K some were buys [I should know, because some have been mine])have manifested during this period.

I personally don't see a White Knight, I see this deal is done, and the income numbers leave plenty for the PI to help themselves ?????

Yes it is as far as I am aware 30% of the stock and then BID for the rest.

This could be the case here - all the Hallmarks of the senario.
