27/3/2012 13:43 | There is still ownership that needs to be ascribed to the vast majority of volume traded over the last few weeks. Genuinely cannot see PI's buying in with much of that volume. Circa 50% of the stock traded - there has to be many more thresholds crossed than the market is aware of at this time. Why can they delay - a consortium is a tall order at this stage certainly. Perhaps they may be many more that come out during the pledging season and too late as our shares are in limbo. Today is effectively the last day for any W.K. as the first broker deadline for voting is tomorrow. Understand the last is 3rd April ready for the vote on the 4th April. Amazed in this hot M&A sector there has been no other interest. However Myriad know our business better than any other potential player. How long will it be for CB to feature at Myriad in some high capacity? | mattab
27/3/2012 12:52 | neubie - out of curiosity - I was checking oddo and they appear to be owned by UBS - all roads appear to lead to the Swiss cheese behind myriad! | joestraughan

27/3/2012 11:55 | eggflip, Totally agree, suppose for all concerned who are holding the stock and converting to Myriad it is best for this to go as smoothly as possible. Be voting for the Myriad deal myself - today. There has to be many more RNS's to cover the change of ownership of the massive volume traded. The risk is too high simply not to vote for the deal if you are holding and take comfort in the heavy buying of the stock which was a surprise to me. Yes a large discount to Myriad. At least we will be running with the wolves who know the business better than the current BOD. Would imagine they would implement change at an quick rate. We may get that Shareholder value that simply was never there with Sync (perhaps only briefly) - even selling the whole business on Strategic Value. Matt | mattab
27/3/2012 09:33 | I don't know why Halifax would be discussing Synchronica's possible tactics with its shareholders - they should only be discussing official announcements. If it is common knowledge why don't Synchronica announce it to its shareholders to prevent us all gradually signing over to Myriad? The deadline for many is tomorrow - so should we expect news today if true? I imagine there is some confusion with one of the more likely scenarios - that Myriad get 75% of the vote. They have already stated in the offer document that at that point they will de-list Synchronica, making it a private company and virtually impossible to trade. | eggflip

27/3/2012 07:13 | SYNC gonna go private ! Whose gonna fund that ? | chinese investor
26/3/2012 22:08 | Also note that some posters on LSE have received telephone calls and e-mails from represetatives of Myriad asking which way they are going to vote! WTF is going on here. Never known anything like it. Unprofessional at best - against the takeover rules at worst. Where do they get the telephone/e-mail addresses from! Off for some well overdue kip. My two year old daughter decided she wanted to get up before 6am. Less than four hours sleep for me - need to rest. GL all | mattab
26/3/2012 21:18 | SJ No I am still holding - there are still many RNS's to come out - which could change the whole situation. Heavy buying at 12.5/13 - surprised me in all honesty as has the massive volume traded with ownership still to be ascribed to. That to me suggests those in the know - which aint us PI's lol expect decent upside in the short term - whether that is with Myriad/Sync partnership or something else. If it were to drop significantly (as many PI's suspect on the Frankfurt exchange - hence bailed) there simply would not be the volume and the rush to acquire Sync shares that there has been as the vast majority of Shareholders (PI's) seem to have heavily sold down and much more commonly out. So I actually expect the opposite if Myriad are successful. However I do think there will be a twist in this saga. It seemed common knowledge (Corporate Actions) and not secret that Sync could well take the company private and delist - know that was even more of a surprise. Problem is many will have to pledge by the 28th - what happens if that actually happens after pledging my shares to Myriad - because there is little other option as I have found out this afternoon. Oldtown et al - do you know? Thanks in advance | mattab

26/3/2012 16:07 | Spoke to Iweb this afternoon and amongst the long 40 minute conversation. Having spoke to the Corporate Actions team (customer service person) - it was said that there was a possibility (whether that always exists in these situations I do not know) but was mentioned that there talk (they were aware anyway) that Sync could take the company private and delist? Was surprised at this to say the least - does this mean there is a possibility that the Shareholders may get a better deal? If this becomes real - there must be an annoucement very soon. Most of us have to pledge to Myriad this week. Basically there is no choice - sell in the market or pledge. If they get 90% on the 4th April - (unlikely) if you have not voted in favour they will convert your shares as if you have voted yes - unconditional. If they get less than 90% (likely) your shares could potentially be in a company (Sync) that no longer exist and therefore cannot trade them. If they get 75% they cancel TSX and AIM listing and the shares are converted to Myriad and placed on the Frankfurt exchange. Maybe these could go on the Swiss Exchange at a later date but not confirmed. I understand this is for all Sync shareholders and not just with Iweb - all on the Frankfurt exchange. Matt | mattab
