08/3/2012 08:44 | It's a case of sell, accept and watch M reap all the benefits of S's assets or let S continue to run it into the ground! Well done Chinese! Well done M - you saved us from going down with a sinking ship! And well done AD for not deserting a sinking ship last year. You saved us from being totally humiliated. | joestraughan
08/3/2012 08:36 | Looking to buy in here. Looks like a relief scenario playing out - let the crazy response settle and the sanity return here ... peeps will realise that SYNC is a catagoric buy at this price Free money as santangello points out. We know that SYNC is worth a hell of a lot more than this - some have said they wouldn't have accepted a three figure amount a year ago ... so the fact that MYRIAD have actually managed to buy a company worth a multiple of the 15p they're paying for means that the value of MYRIAD shares would then incorporate the potential and value that SYNC has ! MYR will inherit the significant recurring revenues and the cash starting to be generated from here on. Shame SYNC ran in to some liquid cash issues otherwise I agree with sentiment of many that they could have gone on to multibag from here that's for sure. MYR are worth a heck of a lot more now they have SYNC and now (altho I would now have considered it before) with SYNC incorporated I believe I'd be happy to hold MYR shares ! This seems a CRAZY reaction at the moment. OK - just bought my first batch mid post ! Panic (if not just relief) sellers that's all this is - sanity will resume over the next few days and the share price will be at circa 15p (i.e. +20% !) soon just as the price tag suggests - it has to, otherwise it really is free money ! Not to mention MYR could well be on my buy list anyway now - never heard of them prior to this but now, given the boost in valuation that SYNC gives to MYR - we should all be buying MYR if we're shrewd enough imo - ah, I'd be a happy MYR + SYNC combination share holder now that's for sure. | tilusha
08/3/2012 08:36 | This mornings selling is just unbelieveable......s I see the Shrewdies have been buying more. On current offer terms, there is a 2.25p profit just sitting in the Market.... | santangello
08/3/2012 08:28 | has everyone disappeared now? | hardrider8
08/3/2012 07:57 | Well done Chinese ! Chinese Investor - 5 Jan'12 - 08:35 - 203 of 4226 A deal will be done around 15p. Angus Dent will be given a seat on the enlarged board. IMO | chinese investor
08/3/2012 07:42 | Perhaps buyers today, looking to make more free money? Depends on MMs. My large buying spree looks to have rewarded me.... | santangello
08/3/2012 04:12 | Never really stood a chance and no you couldn`t make it up Big Stick Communications Limited (Public Relations Adviser to Myriad) Bumblebee PR Public Relations Advisor to Synchronica plc though it has to be said that a bumble bee, any bumble bee really, ought not to get hit by a big stick unless the bumble bee was drunk on nectar or confused by smoke billowing around... have now read the RNS properly and still remain confused....question | neubie
08/3/2012 01:22 | unless of course it becomes a bidding war... | neubie
08/3/2012 00:18 | Sweet dreams! This nightmare is now over! | joestraughan
08/3/2012 00:09 | Yep makes you think. | oldtown
08/3/2012 00:09 | Thanks guys! | sharejock
07/3/2012 23:49 | joestraughan- some of the personal comments on this these threads have been totally vile. Especially by one or two individuals towards Mr. Wilkinson. I dont think anyone would have borrowed them the cash tbh. | oldtown
07/3/2012 23:47 | I had the same question but seems it is back joe...just no company for the thread to follow :-( So from a totally optimistic point of view we now know if anyone wants to throw their hat into the ring it only needs to be at 17.5 p to walk away with it in cash of course! | neubie
07/3/2012 23:47 | oldtown - I think some of the directors of S could have bought it outright?? | joestraughan
07/3/2012 23:44 | S/J Going to see the price in the morning and make a decision. Probably the only thing stopping Myriad from waiting for Sync to go bust and then buying it from the Administrator is the probability that the administer would have sold the company for actually more than the Sync board could negotiate in its financial peril as it stands today. Without that burden, the administrator could probably have employed a split up, or sum of parts sale/auction would probably have fetch a lot more than the offer on the table right now. all imho | oldtown
07/3/2012 23:43 | I'm not sure if litigation by one party mentioned tonight will be a good thing. It could just open a can of worms on the whole affair. And i think there are many worms in that can. | joestraughan
07/3/2012 23:40 | Yes - it means there will be a scramble to sell or accept quickly. So it could mean the share price lags the offer price for some time? I would think it will be wrapped up sooner rather than later!! There will be much post-match analysis on this saga I think. But it may be more profitable to move on quickly. | joestraughan
07/3/2012 23:40 | Old / Egg: Cheers! My deadline is 28th via brokers. Actual deadline is 4th April and Fid have until 12th or 20th. Hope nothong happens after 28th that'd just be the icing! | sharejock
07/3/2012 23:36 | Still no need for anyone to sign before the deadline. Just in case. | eggflip
07/3/2012 23:32 | Indeed sharejock ,obviously a bit of gamesmanship by myriad but even so. Joe yep Myriad are the good guys, it's very possible they could have waited and bought sync from the administrator giving shareholders nothing. | oldtown
07/3/2012 23:28 | Given the below it seems best for Sync if we sign up soon as. Interested in others' thoughts, please. Shareholders should also be aware that there is a risk that the short term loan from Myriad of up to US $3 million, to be drawn down in four instalments, to cover some of the payroll costs of Synchronicamay not be sufficient to enable Synchronica to cover the overall working capital requirements of Synchronica during the Offer Period, particularly if the Offer remains open for the full 60 days. In addition, as the loan is repayable within 14 days after the expiry of the Offer Period, Synchronica may not have sufficient time to put alternative financing arrangements in place. | sharejock
07/3/2012 23:18 | oldtown - we were lucky to get this far! sync found a white knight, and that white knight was in fact M. And I'm not looking a gifthorse in the mouth! | joestraughan
07/3/2012 22:52 | oldtown: A good call! and, as you say, we were so close to nothing! | sharejock |
