26/5/2017 09:36 | mattjos I can assure youth I am not coming from a position of envy, yes I find most of the management useless only caring about themselves and not the good of the company. In all honesty we have seen this all before even when the share price was 21p going south to 3p. I wish them luck but fear history will repeat itself. | robertnash2
25/5/2017 13:42 | Er... all their product is bought in. They have no inherent know-how. | heeley3
24/5/2017 22:08 | OK. He's got to much anger to see clearly now? | maccamcd
24/5/2017 21:49 | Robertnash here predominantly speaks from a position of envy & dislike towards the company management. That's not to say his opinion is worthless but, one should understand what motivates him | mattjos
24/5/2017 21:47 | An uncommercialised patent is generally worthless. Tech knowledge with a sales line and a growing distribution network into a receptive market .. priceless | mattjos
24/5/2017 20:58 | Isn't it 20 years of knowhow? Must be worth £100m knowing how to degrade at different timelenghts.Patents get copied..knowhow can only be hacked or envied. | maccamcd
22/5/2017 11:40 | maccamcd since when do SET own the technology or have the IP? | robertnash2
22/5/2017 09:30 | surprised this is down with ALL THE PLASTIC news around.. countryfile, BBC news.. a truly global topic, and we own the tech to help make the world a better place. If Michael Jackson was still alive, He'd be our sponsor! | maccamcd
12/5/2017 19:42 | The last corporate investors in the last placing. They have seat on the board and have taken this company by scruff of the neck, in corporate governance terms. With ID / factoring in place they should have zero need for an equity raise & actually, I think the original directors on the board would be very reluctant to do so now because they risk the new chaps getting a thicker slice of the pie and tightening their grip on the company. However it has arisen, in terms of directors and equity stakes, I believe the company will now grow & grow profitably & with much better governance.Should reach mid 30's on this next leg | mattjos
12/5/2017 17:25 | I knew that me selling would prompt a rise in the SP! My sub-10p re-entry may be a distant dream! | audigger
12/5/2017 15:24 | Could not go -too much work to do decent statement - I look forward to half year figures | snowyflake
12/5/2017 14:04 | Anybody attend the agm? What was the mood like?? | maccamcd
12/5/2017 09:41 | For me one of the best plus points for being invested in SYM, is derived from a look at the last few years' accounts; the 2016 accounts show for the first time in many years that the company was in profit. If that trend continues, the market for the company's products increases and if the base costs are contained so that one is talking about increased turnover less cost of those sales, we could see a company growing in profitably in the years to come. You never know, the company may one day declare a dividend. | snowyflake
12/5/2017 08:55 | Hopefully some numbers in the next few months. There are definitely words and hints in that statement suggesting things are looking good on the order front. | maccamcd
12/5/2017 07:53 | Very good AGM statement with info on all fronts that will help answer investor questions. Some of you here should stop bashing this company and credit it with the success it deserves as a UK company exporting across the world | mattjos
12/5/2017 07:42 | should see a rise today | janekane
05/5/2017 10:29 | Hopefully! | maccamcd
05/5/2017 10:09 | I sold today. Got in at 8p so booked the profit. My judgement is this will fall back to 10p or lower at which point I'll get back in. Legislation is one thing; being the preferred technology to comply with the legislation is another. Now I'm out, you can watch this fly above 20p next week as this is the way of things! | audigger
05/5/2017 09:49 | I've been to their office, I've heard the story, I've judged his mannerisms and looked into his eyes... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Even though I don't doubt the need for their products now. | maccamcd
05/5/2017 07:46 | Depends how you interpret the 'flimsy' Saudi news, and when you last spoke to ML about their products in this plastic world. 20 years of knowhow in biodegradable chemistry just when governments are changing legislation isn't only worth £20m.In my opinion. I have a different view to you obviously about ML as I was lucky enough to miss the last 19 years of hard work and disappointment! | maccamcd
04/5/2017 19:57 | Phew - Today I managed to sell at a totally unjustified price. Thanks to the latest batch of gullible newbies who have bought into the Laurier gravy train. It's incredible that the share price flew on the most flimsy RNS which even said explicitly that not a single new order relating to the 'news' had been received. Watch your pockets (and do your own thorough research) but at least you can say you are part of a 15+ year long line of smart people who have been taken in by this one.. | poftie |
