Factory fire and covid shutdowns. Factories switched production to electronic consumables and cars got left behind.

These chips go in cars and without them they can't make new cars and without Auto production there's very limited demand for pgms.

If you've never traded before twirl, I don't recommend you start on the precipice of a global financial and property crisis.

Hi Jatin Bloomberg have been covering the chip shortage for months now, if you google "bloomberg chip shortage" you'll find loads of articles on the matter but the one I was referring to is... "Volkswagen Says Chip Crisis Won't Ease Until Second Half of 2022" Https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-09-16/volkswagen-says-chip-crisis-won-t-ease-until-second-half-of-2022

Plat hunter in your post 6308, you said "Volkswagin saying they expect the chip shortage won't ease until the 2nd half of Q2" - where did you see this or what is your source please?

Agree it looks cheap but pgms are being hammered by the semiconductor shortage.in the medium turn pgm miners will suffer.rhodium down now over 50% from its high and no catalyst to change that trend until car companies ramp up production.

MCAP £237m ; PBT $143m .. I know PGMs currently down but demand should come back . share price looks very cheap

I've already got a shed load of these in the higher 80s so I put an order in the 80p which didn't fill today. So many cheap PM mining stocks to choose from at the moment

The main risk with SLP is that they will make good profits as opposed to mega profits in the near term. Wouldn’t be rushing to sell if you are an investor. Trading is a different matter.
