Agree it looks cheap but pgms are being hammered by the semiconductor shortage.in the medium turn pgm miners will suffer.rhodium down now over 50% from its high and no catalyst to change that trend until car companies ramp up production.

I've already got a shed load of these in the higher 80s so I put an order in the 80p which didn't fill today. So many cheap PM mining stocks to choose from at the moment

The main risk with SLP is that they will make good profits as opposed to mega profits in the near term. Wouldn’t be rushing to sell if you are an investor. Trading is a different matter.

@johnhemming thanks for the advice. the price is back down, I think i'll probably cut my losses, will probably sell it when the NYSE opens and reinvest that capital in things I have a better understanding of haha

@JBSolms - sorry I don't really know the Rhodium market. I personally am relying on XRH0 in order to predict what will happen with the producers such as SLP. I would, however, keep an eye on what has happened previously with Rhodium.

Incidentally personally when I think I am not sure what to do I sometimes sell half. However, I have no reliable idea on what is happening with Rhodium. I last sold SLP at 98.6 having bought at 85ish, but I am not sure what price I would by back in again.

XRH0 has bounced back today, but I don't think we have yet established a medium term equilibrium.

put an order in. buying it as a divi stock. effectively getting this 4p cheaper as it goes x div next month

What I don't understand is why one of the big car companies doesn't buy SLP outright. Even at decent premium to current share price they could get these for next to nothing and have their own free supply of rhodium for the next few years.
