27/10/2021 08:24 | yea but if it then falls more than 4p what do you gain? | farrugia
27/10/2021 08:23 | Far it's 4p and record day today, so you have to hold at cob today to get it.I personally think i'll make more buying post divi. There's not a lot of fundamental/ technical evidence on offer to suggest otherwise imo. | plat hunter
27/10/2021 08:19 | Ferr Ex is tomorrow and div is 4p Many will fill their boots today to make easy money (4p is not bad, almost 4% of your money with a click) | early retirement

26/10/2021 12:54 | FCF is a measure of future growth, if earnings are falling because of sales value then so does the fcf in a fixed cost price environment. | plat hunter
26/10/2021 12:53 | Plat Hunter - short term trader that talks his own book? Boring. | freddie ferret
26/10/2021 12:29 | Personally I would focus less on earnings, PE and dividend. FCF return is what matters and the broker comment above says 25%. If thats sustainable and the market believed it the share price would double (at least) | makinbuks
26/10/2021 12:11 | Look at how it's retraced back below 108 and 110 resistance though. Stripping out 10% of cash at hand to pay a dividend might be enough :-P As it stands, SLP are paying out almost 50% of net cash as dividends which is not a bad pay rate for the recipient but at 10 times earnings and subject to items that are not within their control, IE PGM basket price and ROM volume/grade, It might be a little top heavy and sensitive to the dividend cash being stripped out. Also the dividend rate is more than likely to get cut going forward unless there's a sharp turnaround in the basket price. | plat hunter
26/10/2021 12:03 | rabid dog this time i have to agree with you. | hamp
26/10/2021 11:52 | Unlikely…could | rabiddog

26/10/2021 11:27 | Maybe because people think "ex" means "previous". Obviously it comes instead from Latin "without". Managed to load 6k at 99.97. Waiting for the ex date and enjoy my 240 quid little present. Btw, what's a dividend? :-) | early retirement |
