I wonder if the first half results(due in three weeks) have been leaked, if so can`t be good news.

I eventually put the certificated ones into my On Line account and sold them.

I have to admit to making a decent profit one year, when I sold all (except the certificated ones) at prices above and below 10p/share.

My mistake was buying back as the dropped to around 4p/share, my loss wiped out the gains and after selling the certificated ones the whole investment ended up negative.

Not enough to worry me because the PIC shares I purchased for 50p/share at the same time as my first SUN shares served me well :)

I hope SUN keeps going because and does well because it provides some decent jobs locally, but I'll not be buying shares any time soon.

Took 20 odd years for me to give up on this, Directors were the only ones to make a decent profit during that period.

No idea Ken, my worry is it’s taken private by the Elemental team at sub 3p hopefully they are not that kind but greed is a funny thing, always felt strange them pocketing from being bought out and now essentially run the show, if the BOD could show some confidence and increase there holdings that may restore some confidence because right now it’s shot to sh*t

Dig a big hole...bury said SUN shares and forget about them...

Plan 2...

Dig bigger hole and bury them for longer...

Plan 3...

Drink more Marlborough Sauvignon...

I like plan 3

Terrible investment for me here, is this all Brexit related? Or more bad news on the way

Buywell4 it doesn’t bare thinking about, however the long term story of people getting ill and needing operations isn’t going to change any time soon, I’ll put them in the bottom drawer and add as and when the funds allow

Blamed brexit for the last profits warning. That was with a deal. What’s a no deal going to do heading into a world recession?

I put it down to general market sentiment and the possibility of a recession on the horizon. Interim results due in September should provide some clarity.

Back at 2p = Certainly does not good - but hard to put finger on company specific reason - might just be illiquid in a market meltdown BUT cannot see any reason to jump in - imo cautions etc.

Chart seems to be indicating that SUN is going bust!

Seems a bit extreme.

Chart looking good if you ask me. A couple of years in the doldrums and then a steady-ish climb out of it.

Short and long term charts here are dreadful. Brexit not helping. Markets look likely to drop to 6000 IMO

More funding for the NHS can only be helpful here if the consultants are happy to do the hours
