Wonder if those 2x 200k trades was that director offloading the ones he bought at 1.7p exercising his option recently advised by RNS ?
If so that conflicts with previous theory about all coming good .

Agree with you, cliley. Staff and family and friends must have been given the nod that all will come good. Expect an RNS any day now.

Could well (imo) be hope over experience - Unless they can get faster acceptance and build sales this still has a significant potential to be burnt toast (imo).

Watching but not buying.

Small buys indicate staff and family buying. Looks like good news just around the corner.

You're right Ken, that does include my Heamocell losses, my first shares were 60p.

First profit I saw was a sell at 11p and then at 13p, been up & down since until the big fall!

As for selling, I'll wait and see what they have to say at the next update before deciding.

Well, you are very lucky gbh ! Does that include losses when it was Heamocell ? I need a few more pennies on the share price yet to get to that point. So when do you plan to sell out ?

The series of small buys continues with share price ticking up as a result. I am thinking that there are those out there that know something that is not in the public domain. About time the company updated us all on current situation.

Thanks for all your comments on this. Presume the ann report will provide an idea as to whether there is an option soon to expire ! Let's wait and see if he flogs them ! Presume if he left the co. or was asked to leave any "unexercised" options would be waivered ?

He may have had to exercise if the options were soon to expire

DEFINITION of 'Exercise'

To put into effect the right specified in a contract. In options trading, the option holder has the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell the underlying instrument at a specified price on or before a specified date in the future. If the holder decides to buy or sell the underlying instrument (rather than allowing the contract to expire worthless or closing out the position), he or she will exercise the option, and make use of the right available in the contract.

In other words grabbing some cheap shares that have been on offer often connected to achieving a goal........In the case of Company Directors "the goal" usually means they have to be breathing at the time they grab the shares :))

Nope. McMahon is exercising the right to buy 400k shares at 1.7p, as opposed to the higher market price, because he thinks the shares are worth more than 1.7p.As far as we know, he hasn't sold the shares. That part, and his fear of the co going under, you pretty much made up.

Can somebody explain the logic of exercising an option please. Confess I struggle with this :- needing the cash so will sell the shares, fearing the co. will go under hence getting hold of and selling the shares before it goes pop, exercising a gain (or a loss) within the same fin yr so as to reduce CGT etc etc
