16/1/2021 18:18 | Thanks for sharing your podcast Donald Pond. You and Dave have a good repartee and I enjoyed hearing your trading ideas. Your assessment of ST was spot on I felt. It has been a long journey getting to where the company is now, but all the hard work has been worthwhile. No one is sitting back complacent, but I feel much more relaxed knowing that the product is gaining growing recognition. Growth in annual sales from ca 4000 disks to 165000 disks over the next five years is a really exciting prospect. | longshanks
16/1/2021 17:40 | Hi talk2dubya. The company has been well supported by HNW investors and its core retail investor base over the years. Qualifying for EIS has made the placings attractive but that notwithstanding, the BoD has always been concerned about unnecessary share dilution: making it clear recently that funding of future production capacity should be possible by alternative means. The business is expected to be cash flow positive this year but if growth of uptake is faster than anticipated, they could well need significantly greater working capital. I would support a placing in such circumstances and am sure there is no shortage of interest. The company has a good history of extending fundraising to its retail investor base. Institutional support has been pretty solid with little if any profit taking to date. Most have been VC funds, but with the transition to full scale manufacturing, I would expect more mid-cap funds to be taking positions. | longshanks
16/1/2021 13:28 | Thanks Toffee - just seen the data is the header, looks like one placing a year on average. Will be looking to take an initial position here Monday. | talk2dubya
16/1/2021 13:17 | >> T2D - I will let Longshanks respond - but the short answer to your questions Has the Company been responsible in the way it has conducted previous raises? = Yes and i.e no silly discounts and good institutions now looking to flip ? = No | toffeeman
16/1/2021 12:58 | Longshanks - I am seriously looking at putting in a good chunk of cash here. Compared to some of the hydrogen plays out there in terms of p/e valuations this is significantly undervalued. My primary concern is a placing with 1m in the bank and increased costs through growth. Has the Company been responsible in the way it has conducted previous raises ? i.e no silly discounts and good institutions now looking to flip ? | talk2dubya
16/1/2021 08:39 | I discussed SCE (and RENX for that matter) on the podcast yesterdayhttps://pod | donald pond

15/1/2021 11:29 | Welcome to the board essential. We don't talk too much here: 4900 posts in 11 years says it all, but there are a good number of knowledgeable holders watching. If you have any questions please feel free to raise them. | longshanks

14/1/2021 15:32 | I'd love to know why today - Thursday 14th Jan? Was it the confirmatory signal going past 54p? Surely it cannot be the board's cumulative banter? This board has been brimming with positivity for ages whilst steering clear of outlandish ramping. Could it be imminent news? A leak? Or is the second working week of the calendar year one in which investors take up new positions? The general background outlook out there seems very gloomy - strange for us to get a sudden rush of exuberance for no reason! However - this share price rise is keeping my spirits up! 14/1/2021 14:25 | Don’t let the 55-59 spread fool you. I cannot get an online quote for any size to buy (not even 20 shares!). I can get an online quote to sell 100,000 at above 55 and 30,000 at 57.375 and all stops in between through 56 area. They want your shares just now. | bones
14/1/2021 12:38 | Nearly a million shares traded before lunchtime (most buying above 55p)! That is a lot of momentum / breakout traders coming out of the woodwork in one go. Are they going to be sticky investors or dumping volumes above 60p for a quickie trade? Whatever the answer, the breakout on strong volume usually presages the creation of a higher base for the share price. | bones
14/1/2021 12:19 | Welcome to the board chezt. Very good timing I would say - congratulations | longshanks
14/1/2021 11:44 | Looks like my 52p trade yesterday was well timed even if I did overpay. | chezt

14/1/2021 09:57 | I wonder if Michael Taylor is reading this loud and clear. Graham1TY don't come down on us with an early onset of summit fever. We are moving up an undulating ridge and that peak ahead is one of many. The final summit remains shrouded in the mists. We are going to be carrying bottles by the time we finish. In fact we have only just set off with much climbing ahead of us. Do you need to go back to base camp to continue acclimatising? Fils | fillspectre
14/1/2021 09:43 | Fillspectre, for some reason, DirectorsTalk have deleted that Tweet I referenced in post 4864. The plot thickens or it was a fat finger tweet by them. | bones |
