18/3/2016 08:36 | I've just had another read, the OO shares will be issued in next tax year (not this tax year) by the looks of it, phew, that's all right then, I can claim back the EIS tax relief then. | timbo003
18/3/2016 08:30 | Why did the placing price have to be so bloody low. | albert_einstein
18/3/2016 08:20 | I wasn't offered this time either Rivaldo. although I've probably got enough anyway. Will take up the OO, even though it is in the wrong tax year for me (no more income tax to claim back). Why couldn't the broker have sorted it so you could opt for either tax year for the OO shares (as they seem to have done for the placing)? Having said that, I'm delighted by the news, the price seems about right given the circumstances and they are raising enough by the looks of it to reach profitability without resorting to further funding. | timbo003
18/3/2016 08:03 | Call David. He might still be able to sort you out | graham1ty
18/3/2016 07:52 | That's excellent news Graham, thx. Bodes well. Bit miffed I wasn't offered this time as I've happily taken part in prior placings :o)) | rivaldo
18/3/2016 07:32 | Rivaldo it was oversubscribed. I had a chance to take part in the placing and only got 58% of my application | graham1ty
18/3/2016 07:30 | Agreed - this is terrific news. SCE have put everything in place in one fell swoop to become THE alternative to Brembo and really become a globally market-leading company in this space. With the share price slipping to 17.25p I was fearing a placing at 12p-13p with the institutions blackmailing the company and taking their pound of flesh. Hopefully this means there was plenty of demand out there for the shares, which will follow through in the aftermarket. And at least as a gesture we get a chance to add at these levels too with the £0.5m open offer. | rivaldo
18/3/2016 07:24 | Amt up to now SCE has raised tiny amounts to limp from one fundraising to the next. This is a big slug and they have been given enough rope to hang themselves. No excuses now. They have to deliver. While this is dilutive, 16p is a pretty good price if you put it in the context of the last six months. If they had done it at 13-14p I would have been really cross. But 16p shows they have support | graham1ty
18/3/2016 07:23 | At least they have got the money and shareholders have a chance to participate. I am pretty sure after reading the RNS that the OEM contracts will start to come . The dilution is nothing compared to the massive long term potential. | talkman2
18/3/2016 07:17 | Downside is the massive dilution. So typical of AIM companies coming back for more and more money. | amt
18/3/2016 07:15 | G1:- Agreed - You just beat me to it. Toffeeman:- You were out by 1p - but a reasonable guess - | pugugly
18/3/2016 07:11 | That is a great result. £5m gives them enough to get into production. And 16p is a pretty good price for that amount of money. They must have a few new institutions. Right now we just need an OEM announcement | graham1ty
17/3/2016 20:06 | Typical Blue Noise - always the bear lol | swiss paul
17/3/2016 17:50 | Good god! - Don't take anything anyone says on a BB as true! - I am merely speculating: 1. It's off 25% from recent highs 1a. This can only be because a fundraising is on the cards 2. It is a difficult time to fundraise right now 2a They will want to fundraise at a higher price than the last one (13p to raise £1m) 3. They probably had 20p as a target but can't get it away there so I predict 15p which is where we seem to be slowly drifting. BWTFDIK!!! | toffeeman
17/3/2016 17:05 | Interesting Toffeeman - Have you any idea of the possible timeline ? | pugugly
17/3/2016 14:38 | Book building for the placing - looking more like 15p than 20p | toffeeman
17/3/2016 10:22 | Disappointing to see the share price continue to drip down. We really need an OEM announcement. This is massively overdue. Its nearly 5 months since the AGM. | talkman2

04/3/2016 00:45 | Out of all of the potential auto contracts the "British OEM One" looks to be pretty much a done deal, from the results....... British OEM One: This customer has satisfactorily concluded testing, informed us of their intention to purchase the Company's product and shared its Surface Transforms product introduction programme with us, by model type, over the next few years. This contract is expected to commence in mid 2018 generating sales for Surface Transforms of up to GBP1.6m per annum rising to GBP4.7m in 2020 as later models are released. The Company expects to be able to formally announce this contract award when the model itself is launched during this calendar year. | quemaster
03/3/2016 22:48 | Aston Martin launched the DB11 at Geneva this week with Brembo calipers, but steel discs. Why not have a complete Brembo package? Maybe a sign that when it is in production the steel discs will be replaced with carbon ceramic discs, but not from Brembo? | bdaonion
03/3/2016 19:49 | I will go with British OEM 1 is Aston Martin. The time frame matches what they are saying for the launch of the next Vanquish. | robinbell
03/3/2016 16:58 | I was thinking either Aston Martin, Maclaren or Jaguar. They came v. close to getting an OEM deal for a limited edition Jaguar a few years ago. | longshanks
03/3/2016 16:46 | Can only be Aston Martin | toffeeman
03/3/2016 16:03 | Do we know who the British vehicle OEM is? Might be some opportunity with the TVR relaunch in coming months /year. | glyn10 |
