10% down since the results. 10 day MA below the 50 day MA now and looking to pull back to 200 day MA circa 82p. Been stagnant now for 12 months and just couldn't crack the 90p barrier. Decisions to be taken here. I can make a case for buying more if it drops - fundamentals, oversold, etc. Equally it's a real pity this hasn't enjoyed the wider market boom recently. Yes, it did come back from 70p to 90p, but it held up well post Ukrainian invasion prior to slumping to 70p area. Still here for my sins!

You'll have a hard time arguing with the market. SUR looks a sure bet but who knows when?
There are many blatant anomalies out there. E.g. compare DATA and CNIC (both reported today). DATA has a highly borrowed balance sheet that looks quite dodgy and trades on an adjusted PE of 28. CNIC has a rather better bs, phenomenal growth record and trades on an adjusted PE of 7.
SUR is of course in a different market from these but deserves better than a PE (adjusted) of 9.5. Given the stability and steady growth prospects of its market a range of 12 to 15 would seem more sensible. Thuse I judge it a sensible hold even if the market is slow to appreciate it - and hopefully a dividend will be restored soon.

I think the next aquisition if they get it right will push the share price up after all it’s all we seem to be waiting for!! If they can sell the 2 divisions up for sale they have plenty of firepower so I think the board will be judged on this because the share price has been stuck at this level for 2 years

I'm rapidly losing patience here. I've said it before but I'm still here, that's my fault clearly, but what will make this move! Institutions taking a stake or intro.of a dividend or a transformative acquisition or someone bidding for the company. There's no doubt they're we'll run and in a hot sector, but at some point that needs to translate into shareholder value.

Maybe it would be better to sell and move onto something faster?

So much for master investor predictions we always seem to be hanging on for a shred of good news

No momentum or interest being shown here still week in week out this will cause the share price to drift backwards as it already is. The silence from Mr Smith and Winks is not helping this. Only 6 trades so far today!

I remember 3/4 years ago fretting about what the family would do with their holding and for me best for all concerned that they have reduced to their current holding.

Looks like they have sold over 5% of the company, they must have sell orders about the 90p mark. I wonder if they will sell their remaining 2% plus or so...

Selling for the benefit of the beneficiaries under his will and/or diversification, rather than any concern about the company imo, so probably provides a good buying opportunity

SUR's Warmworks JV was yesterday reappointed for another year by Orkney council to manage the rollout of up to £2.1m of funds to help local households with heating and insulation - with the council having just been given another £600,000 for this purpose:

I do think the board need to pull their
fingers out with the sale of the 2 divisions it’s dragging on a bit now
I’m not saying sell them off cheaply but hope they are not just holding out for top dollar
