07/3/2022 09:47 | Absolute bargain price | knowhow77
04/3/2022 18:45 | Sureserve fundamentals have not changed and the share price undervalues the business at this level. In the short term there will be volitivity. Nevertheless the share price will make progress back to the 100p level in the near future. Trading update and progress report on the 22nd and after the financial year end fund managers will be restructuring, looking at good stocks to add to their portfolios. Russian / Ukraine war has caused a lot of uncertainty however again that will not stop or affect SUR business. On that subject I feel very much for the Ukrainian people who are being affected. We are so lucky to live in the UK! IMHO | vfast
04/3/2022 17:34 | Or foolish. It might drop lower but it might still be worth 100p. Happy to take my chances, might double down again. SURs outlook hasn't changed. | marktime1231
04/3/2022 13:35 | Brave to be a buyer of anything in this market , however solid the company is | davidro77
04/3/2022 12:35 | Doubled up at 77p. | marktime1231
03/3/2022 10:50 | Sharepad Forecasts has: PTP 16.5 - 2022 EPS 8.2 PTP 17.6 - 2023 EPS 8.61 PTP 20.0 - 2024 EPS 9.26 | gamwah
03/3/2022 10:23 | Thanks se18 and Rivaldo Great that Slater have increased | gswredland
03/3/2022 10:06 | Cheers se81. I see Momentum Investor note that Slater Investments have recently increased their stake to 15.16%. They also have Peel Hunt's forecasts (which aren't on Research Tree) as follows - which the CEO says "are conservative": Y/E Sept'22 - 8.2p EPS Y/E Sept'23 - 8.8p EPS Which puts SUR on a P/E of just 9.4 going forward - with further acquisitions likely from the £16.5m and rising cash pile. | rivaldo
28/2/2022 08:45 | Tipped in The Momentum Investor this weekend. Some interesting bits from Peter Smith- aiming to double turnover in the next 5 years, organic sales growth c 10% pa, winning around 2 out of 3 contracts tendered for with 60-70% of the weighting ascribed to contracts out for tender based on quality metrics, within renewables he is aiming to buy in expertise in the areas of solar, lighting, battery technologies and heat pumps (@6-8 x EBIT), in compliance looking to improve geographic coverage (@4-5x EBIT), its order book already covers 73% FY’22 revenue, 46% FY’23 and 33% of FY’24 | se81
28/2/2022 08:07 | Agreed vfast, the share price should be back to 100p pronto - and there's lots of upside from there too imho given the lovely recurring income, high forward visibility and very cheap fundamentals. Plus the large cash pile which should enable earnings-enhancing acquisitions. Nice start to the week already today. | rivaldo
25/2/2022 11:06 | No, still open. | marktime1231
25/2/2022 10:50 | Great news, thanks Rivaldo. SP very cheap at the 80p level and expecting a good trading update and positive outlook moving forward on the 22nd of March. | vfast
25/2/2022 10:19 | SUR are highlighted in the new Shares Magazine in an article about investing in energy-efficient companies: "Working mainly in the public sector, including social housing, energy services firm Sureserve (SUR:AIM) designs and installs heating systems ranging from gas boilers to air source and ground source heat pumps. There are around 4.1 million social houses in the UK and the market in energy services is worth around £1.9 billion every year, giving the firm plenty of headroom to grow. Sureserve also installs other energy-saving measures like cavity wall and loft insulation and smart meters to maximise fuel efficiency and financial savings for its customers, who include homeowners and landlords as well as local authorities. Lastly, the firm also provides energy, fire, electrical, and water and fire compliance services to schools and colleges, other public buildings and the industrial and commercial sectors." | rivaldo
24/2/2022 23:07 | Was it filled? | johndoe23
24/2/2022 15:07 | Put out a bid to double up at 79p. | marktime1231
21/2/2022 15:05 | Sureserve running quite a few adverts on Talksport this morning, recruiting staff. | ruraljuror
18/2/2022 18:59 | Vfast - totally agree. When things are this volatile it seems the right play to almost not have stop losses and to just focus on company performance and any targets you might have for a share price. (Not suggesting anyone should blindly do this) however every time a stop has been hit for me in the last 12 months, I've sadly watched the stock at least recover and quite often head up into what would have been profit. It does make money management near impossible however. GLA long term hold for me this, just ignoring it for at least another year maybe longer unless questionable news or circumstances change | doobz
18/2/2022 09:45 | The share price appears to have settled after the drop however I would not be surprised to see further fluctuations. Brokers and the MM's only make money when people are buying and selling so it is in their interest for investors to trade and the old "Tree Shaking" method is one of the ways to get investors to trade regardless how good the company may be. I believe the next significance date is the 22nd of March (apart from an RNS) when they give a trading update and believe we will see the share price moving in a positive direction and pushing through the 100p level and making its move to a fairer valuation of the company's prospects. Please consider that the share price can be manipulated for the benefit of the Market! | vfast
17/2/2022 08:39 | Well done all who took advantage to get in at under 80p earlier this week. Very happy with my purchase. These are being tucked away for a while. Company doing well, lovely sector with the wind at our backs. | pinemartin9
16/2/2022 11:26 | Bid rising nicely, ready for another push up?! | johndoe23
15/2/2022 18:38 | I was pleased to se that the upcoming AGM will be physical unless government regulations change and the tone was welcoming. The only AGM I have attended was the 2017 one which was over in 10/15 minutes and if I remember I was the only PI there. I very much hope I can make it..I have not been to the City for 2 years. | cerrito
15/2/2022 12:11 | I bought some more at 82p Hopefully we'll get an announcement of a material acquisition soon. Positively utilising the dividend dosh :) | thelongandtheshortandthetall
15/2/2022 12:01 | This market sure is crazy. If I wasn't fully invested here would certainly have added sub 80p! Still tempting, mind | johndoe23
15/2/2022 11:39 | I’m pleased I was able to get more at 78p yesterday. I know it’s a very nervous market at the moment but the sell off was way overdone so more than happy to pick up more shares at the discounted price. Hopefully we get a bit of market stability and we can see this creep back towards 100p. Historically March and April are good months for the stock market but it will depend on a few factors | angersharkz
15/2/2022 10:19 | Well done Batty. Anyone buying at 80p will see 25% reasonably quickly in my opinion. Decision will then be whether to take the quick buck and run, or whwther to hold further. I sold some shares yesterday that had plateaued a but in order to benefit from the price here. I could see another 10% in the other share I sold versus a more rapid 25% here. Let's hope so. | pinemartin9 |
