Just to expand on my post 1679 above about Everwarm's contract wins, this link highlights the various wins made by them in the last couple of months in particular, icluding the £5m contract already mentioned, plus another £1.6m in July, plus others in June:

PS : I'm not sure this link will take you to the Everwarm results anyway, so you may have to refine the search. Bidstats seem to have tightened up their systems such that you can now only look at one tender/contract win per day at maximum for free. Tightwads :o))

Knowhow77 - You hold shares in a good company and the share price has held up very well during an extremely difficult period for the markets.

The company is doing the right things, it’s fundamental strength is improving and there is plenty of scope for growth……which they’ve made clear is the companies objective in the short to medium term.

I have no doubt the dividends will return in the not too distant future.

I do wish the company would release more RNS at times…..but if they keep producing good numbers I’m happy to let them get on with what they’re doing.

Be patient and you should see the price head north when the time is right……

I think most agree the company has been undervalued for quiet a while but yes circumstances in the wider picture absolutely not helping.
The share price hit 105/106 a while back and without all the turmoil possibly we might have been heading towards £1.20 by now. However my holding in sure is stable and sorry to disappoint you you’ll not be picking any of mine up at this price.

Knowhow77 - Why would the share price be 120p during a gnarly bear market and the worst economic environment since the 2008 financial crisis? You do know how the stock markets work don’t you?

Now is the time to be buying stocks, not selling them. If you can’t get your head around this offload your shares here on the cheap and I’ll happily take them off your hands.

SUR's Everwarm have been winning lots of new contracts on Bidstats, including only 3 days ago a £5m energy efficiency contract in Yorkshire:

In the low 80's SUR is venerable to a takeover IMO.

It is a good profitable company with a guaranteed revenue stream. Plus, cash in the bank and no debt.

I'll be surprised if the competition or one of the big 6 energy companies is not watching.

I’ll have more patience when it gets to £1.20 and a dividend is brought back!

The interims were only two months ago. In the same month SUR announced a large contract extension win with L&G. And there was also director share buying.

The next trading update will likely be in early October. This is how a responsible public company which doesn't hype itself operates. Before that there may or may not be further acquisition or contract news. There really isn't a problem here. Please give your repeated impatient one-liners a rest :o))

Been away on hols, so pleased to see SUR's share price so stable - it's certainly outperforming the market by some margin at present.

On such a low rating, yet with excellent prospects and high recurring income I'm happy to hold for significant upside. I'd rather management bide their time and wait for the right acquisition(s), and the current environment should be working in their favour as vendors reduce their expectations - and prices.

With no news this will probably drift back into the 70's given the current market
So much patience required here!
The iii. recommendation to buy mentions a 1p dividend. This is incorrect I think.

Trading update due in 3 months I wouldn’t be surprised if we have to wait that long for any significant news any longer and I think investors might start losing a bit of faith in Mr Smith & Mr Winks

Didn’t Peter smith say he hoped to have an acquisition by January 23 let’s hope we don’t have to wait that long

Thanks Rivaldo, many financial media companies tipping SUR however no reaction with the share price

AIM index is down 30% in the first half of 2022 and in that respect SUR has out preformed.

I agree with KH77 & Igoe, if they don't have an acquisition lined up they should think about a dividend which might be the spark to ignite the share price Sensible policy of dividends & acquisitions may attract more interest especially in the current economic climate.

Bob Holt was always beating the company drum but very little to nothing off Nick Winks.

Exactly they can afford to do both
Shareholders just left hanging really they should have got an acquisition over the line to soften the blow of no dividend

My personal impression is they delayed the dividend, this year because they had a investment in the back ground. So I was in favour, of a dividend miss. But its looking like they never did....

Longterm id like to see SUR do both, dividend and smart acquisitions....like RNWH do...

Tipped on i.i.i:

"Sureserve (SUR)
84.5p

Compliance and energy-saving services provider Sureserve Group SUR is trading strongly. Although costs are rising and hitting margins, growth in revenues is faster than expected.

Management plans to sell the fire and lift businesses and concentrate on the core social housing energy services businesses. Demand for gas and other compliance-based maintenance services is steady. While energy efficiency and smart meter installation businesses have strong long-term growth prospects.

The order book is 50% higher at £512 million, with £400 million due after this financial year, and it covers most of the forecast second half revenues.

Interim revenues from continuing operations increased by 24% to £126.2 million, while pre-tax profit was one-third higher at £4.3 million.

The non-core fire and lift businesses are profitable, and they made a slightly higher pre-tax profit of £1.24 million on revenues of £17.3 million. Those non-core businesses have net assets of £13.1 million.

Forecasts currently include the non-core operations because they have not been sold yet. Pre-tax profit is set to improve from £13.6 million to £16 million this year. The timing of any disposals will affect earnings until the cash is reinvested.

There was £8.86 million in the bank at the end of March 2022. This, and any disposal proceeds, will help to finance more acquisitions. There has been a 1p a share dividend paid this year.

There have been no nasty surprises from Sureserve and the prospective multiple of around 10 is low for a company with such good growth prospects. Buy."

A sign of buyers after stock.
