Thanks guys; I'll stay for a while - share price reassuringly strong despite a few sells today.

I've held from the mid 20's.

Well aware it can't be a "DEAD CERT" after 40 years playing the market - hence the speech marks! - but intrigued by the NAP description, that's all.

I'm confident about CERT coming good this year and the recovery prospects here are very compelling.

I am not sure whether SCSW would have been as bullish as they were had they been aware of the trading statement prior to publication. I sold out this morning as well.

Philjeans, no investment is ever a "dead cert" and if someone told me that it was I would be sure to sell not buy. I agree with Brucie5, it's not usually the best time to buy after a surge on a share tip like this (in fact I've just sold my shares), maybe it will go higher, but the share price has been strong recently and I think it may well fall back towards the 30p level over the next few weeks. On the other hand it's a very illiquid share and the market seems short of stock, so it could be squeezed higher short-term. No advice intended, just my thoughts, so DYOR etc etc, good luck, TOC

Phil, I am a subscriber, and for that reason I don't feel it would be fair to others to do that. I don't actually hold any SPGH myself, but naturally keep an eye on what they cover. However, I do notice that following one of their tips, as with the so called Schwartz effect (in the FT), shares tend to shoot off. I would tend to wait until the effect dies down.

Brucie - many thanks for that.

I assume you're a subscriber - could you possibly give us the basis of the tip?

If it's a NAP - does that imply a "DEAD CERT"?

SCSW nap. So probably not a great time to buy in.

Clearly stock in short supply; a little buying has a very nice effect!

I imagine some weekend press on SPGH judging by the very early morning buying today. Anyone know what is behind it?

phil,

Luckily I also managed to pick up a few on Friday.

Looks like SPGH is poised for a spectacular recovery in 2011 and 2012.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a share price ~ 70p plus by the end of 2011.

With significant growth expected in H2 2011 and 2012 on the back of the CERTs programme kicking in properly.

Veiled profit warning more like. Code for this is....we are behind budget, but could get that back in H2, IF CERT comes good.

Nice confident 100k BUY just gone thru; topped up myself too.

Not really bad news today; just sensibly cautious.

Huge recovery potential; and some risk.

Hmm...not a great IMS - I'm out, for a nice profit. Second time I've traded in and out of this. Looks like trading is below budget to me. If H2 is not strong then could be another very tough year. 2012 looks better though.

I made a poor decision twice to buy this company, buying too early! Both times I have managed to get out unscathed. Maybe third time I buy I will get the timing right to stick here for the medium to long term.

Looks interesting indeed. We will need an RNS at this rate.

Takeover definitely a possibility, it's been mentioned a few times in SCSW, nice to see patience rewarded here at last.

Chart looks amazing; plenty of scope here for a recovery.

Takeover?

Something certainly seems to be going on here.

Bid would be an obvious scenario given the low mkt cap. and would come as no surprise.

There are only 57 mln shares in issue.

dnfa, 60p still only values the company at ~34Mln
