03/8/2009 11:49 | Should be one that outperforms if economy shows continuing signs of stabilising. Director buying was good news. Hopefully plenty more to come. | nickcduk
03/8/2009 11:13 | May be some resistance coming up around 37p. Hopefully get through it in a few days. H | hectorp
31/7/2009 15:34 | Just noticed a rise today. I dont mind how, just rise! | hectorp
31/7/2009 09:14 | Is there any one out there? | slogsweep
29/7/2009 15:57 | Big rise on tiny volume this must be tightly held, could rocket on any positive news - still holding for more | slogsweep
20/7/2009 21:45 | Sold mine today. Good company, but scope for further increases limited given its debt position. Happy to almost double since March. May live to regret it, but playing safe. | topvest
18/7/2009 13:45 | They are talking about insulation and the Government scheme on this week's Question Time. | hectorp
17/7/2009 11:28 | I agree with your view CR. I'm sticking with them for lack of a will to sell as well as the horrid spread involved. We won't get rich quick with this one. I'll still be holding this time in 2010 I expect, and then I will see. | hectorp
17/7/2009 08:28 | a fairly decent statement - something feels slightly dragging on it still tho, dunno what. reckon it might rise from here but a drift rather that a rocket perhaps. CR | cockneyrebel
17/7/2009 08:24 | nilip Have a read of their trading statement:- Their shares went up on the day following that statement. They have also had a rival building up a shareholding. Perhaps some corporate action may not be too far away. | nickcduk
17/7/2009 08:07 | Nick, I don't follow SHI, are you saying that they reported CERT business showing weakness ? If that's the case then where does that leave SPGH ? If CERT business weakens then I don't see how SPGH would survive ? All imho. | nilip
17/7/2009 07:57 | Not sure why you expected that Nilip. If you had read SHI trading statement recently you would have known that there was no improvement outside of CERT. Their shares went up after that statement despite them saying their CERT businesses was showing signs of weakness. | nickcduk
17/7/2009 07:53 | Interim Management Statement : Whilst Superglass' trading environment remains very competitive, we are now seeing sustained demand for our products at increased levels through the Carbon Emissions Reduction Targets programme ("CERT"). Trading outside the CERT programme continues to be difficult and in the UK there is still significant pressure on pricing. However, we are proactively managing our cost base, remain highly cash generative and continue to make debt repayments on schedule. Yet again, very dissapointing to say the least and exactly what I feared. I was hoping for a pickup in business outside cert but again the company has said "trading outside CERT continues to be difficult and in the UK there is still significant pressure on pricing" Looks like normal business out side CERT is still very poor - SPGH seem to be completeley dependant on CERT for its survival. | nilip
17/7/2009 07:45 | Decent enough trading statement. New director looks to be bringing some form with him. Orderly hand over before year end. Should move up following today's news. Worth remembering that director bought 120k at 28p only a few months ago. Markets markedly more bullish since. | nickcduk
16/7/2009 10:46 | See that SHI got a bit of corporate interest yesterday. Wonder if we might get the same soon. | nickcduk
16/7/2009 10:36 | can anyone confirm a trading statement is due imminently? | northwards
14/7/2009 23:03 | I've locked in for 2010-11, no point doing much else IMO.. Like CR I dont have too many its about 2% of my folio. Clearly not trading it with that spread either.. I'll wait for 50-60 p in a year perhaps. Looks a very easy hold and wait now.. | hectorp |
