13/7/2009 23:30 | Who says SPGH was ever down to 5p - AFAICS its bottom was 12p? | cyberbub
11/7/2009 12:01 | Trading statement due on 17th July as indicated by IC. Could be interesting. | jamesiebabie
09/7/2009 21:02 | No problem. CR | cockneyrebel
09/7/2009 20:05 | Thanks for the link CR. I hadn't realised these statements had become compulsory twice a year and at such precise times. It would seem that SPGH have 10 days left to get their statement out for the current second half. | afpk53
09/7/2009 11:18 | im gonna miss your postings next week when im on hols can never get proper reception on them tiny islands | gyau
09/7/2009 11:17 | well he doesn't seem to be on every thread at it and using about 5 handles like you GYAU. I'm surprised ADVFN even allow you to post on here. CR | cockneyrebel
09/7/2009 11:08 | With the current weakness in the share price and the expectation of an Interim Management Statament ... you have to think that it looks like we're in for some bad news here ... Perhaps worth noting the absense of any contract news/update also for such a long time. | nilip
08/7/2009 11:32 | afpk53 - they have to publish an IMS - they are fully listed, it's a corporate requirement these days: CR | cockneyrebel
08/7/2009 11:28 | The share price is currently up 5 fold from the low of 5p in April ... ie. still up 200% from the low ... So at least there's something positive to be taken from the current share price | nilip
08/7/2009 08:22 | CR, "Chart does look ugly-ish but this is just beer money really" LOL! | nilip
08/7/2009 08:16 | Big price moves on virtually no reported trades. Probably hardly any stock changing hands and with such a huge spread not worth trading. Far as I know company still running flat out and demand should be high and low pound keeps out Euro competion. So baffled by recent moves unless MM are getting price down due to a big order or bid perhaps? | slogsweep
07/7/2009 20:07 | I'm not sure why you'd be expecting an IMS here. The Interim Results were at the end of April, with the interim dividend of 1p being paid on 17 July. The year ends 31 August, with finals in November. There might be a trading update towards the end of August I suppose .... There might even be a flurry of people re-investing their dividends while the shares are so cheap ... | afpk53
07/7/2009 16:42 | Nope not totally sold, I don't have many tho because they were so tough to buy and closed but closed half when the IMS didn't show when I expected it last week. Chart does look ugly-ish but this is just beer money really - will let the few I have play out. Actually had the gov's insulation bods in to do our house - fibreglass in the roof was ok but for some reason they insisted we had some huge vent for the gass fire if we wanted to have wall insulation. Told them to stick it - the bod that came around to assess it before never told us that. I reckon they still get paid on a cancellation. So I guess they might be doing alright if they are going around getting paid to do nothing, on the other hand if they get sussed then perhaps their income stream will dry up and the gov will be after them? Will wait and see. CR | cockneyrebel
07/7/2009 15:57 | stoxx, I suspect CR will have sold out of SPGH when the share price started to drop. He's a pretty wise trader. | nilip
07/7/2009 13:07 | Some bad news may be in the price now; after all, SIG (SHI) warned, then KGP did, then SHI did again, so mkt has to be aware of the possibility of any SPGH t/s having a few negatives (though I'm not buying back in just yet). | spectoacc
07/7/2009 10:58 | This one looks nasty CR... lets hope all is not as bad as it would seem. I know SCSW were raving about this one. | stoxx67
07/7/2009 10:33 | Oh Sh*t! The share price just dived to 22-23p ... albeit temporarily and now gone to 23-28p I hold a few of these (luckily sold most at much higher up, but still have a very small holding) - but getting very weary of the continual gradual fall in the share price. I'm starting to get the impression we could be in for some bad / dissapointing news ? We were at ~ 5p just a few weeks ago ... So any dissapointment could seriously damage the share price again and take us straight back into single digits. | nilip
07/7/2009 10:32 | Hefty drop today on no news......unless I missed something? | btb2
28/6/2009 11:23 | Interim Management Statement on Weds or there abouts - that should draw attention anyway. CR | cockneyrebel
28/6/2009 09:04 | Two weeks later... 28-30p. Sticking with them till 2010 anyhow! | hectorp
16/6/2009 09:28 | It appears that the relatively small additions by Blackrock and Hansa Trust are greeted rapturously by the cheerleaders whereas nobody mentions that this is just a placing of the shares held by Montanaro. A month ago with the price at 43.25 and CR predicting no resistance to 65 I was riduculed for stating that the 5m "missing" shares had not been placed. If you had baled out then you would have been sitting pretty. I think 25p would be a reasonable entry point. | dalesiders
15/6/2009 10:17 | Only 1p now. hm. Still worth holding on.. till next year anyway. These grants etc for loft insulation as a factor in reducing UK energy use, won't go away. SPGH seriously undervalued, and now becoming overlooked. Will be adding if I see your 25p nillip. | hectorp
10/6/2009 15:35 | It does seem to look increasingly likely that the 25p support level will be re-tested. | nilip |
