China started mass vaccination programmes 2-3 months ago. Have been functioning as normal for a while now. First hand accounts and video footage. Shanghai and Wuhan included. The sidewalks and malls are packed, consumer confidence has returned - not everyone is even wearing a face mask there anymore.

Remember that markets a) anticipate and b) overshoot in both directions.

I reckon that the feel good factor from the US election is strong even for those benighted people who falsely attributed market strength to DT. Combine with the vaccine and we will surely see more than one day of strong gains. I'm more likely to double up than sell today.
