I bailed out with the announcement of CFO being booted. Now not so sure if JD is buying as he would know!
How many has he bought please? Can’t find out.

Raging Bull XL is much larger than a Superdry XL - that's the point I'm making. They also make clothes that fit people with chests larger than their waists by a large margin. A Raging Bull XL polo shirt isn't remotely tight on me, but it fits my shoulders.

SD clothes are 'small for their size' across the range. They assume a 'slim' build. I know a lot of people that of that opinion (even in Cheltenham/Gloucester where its a solid rugby over football culture and most men have played rugby).

I'd happily wear SD tops if they went above XL and I could actually get into them.

If he takes it private, he gets more votes when trying to take it out. Makes loads of sense...

MBO a possibility. Had been rumours that someone was looking at the private of a retailer last year but couldn't raise financing, which to mind could only have been superdry. Will need leverage to take private / delist / squeeze out minorities, and would need proof of execution for that. Hence could be correct that it's an MBO and may not come at too much of a premium, but won't be for a whole, should have better visibility on turnaround by then.

Why would he be buying in the market if he intended to take it private? Makes no sense.

Yep, will offer for mbo, very unlikely huge premiums....but then again we may get a qxl response. Mbo at £7.50 refused by holders, shares rallied to 400 before being bought out.

lageraemia, it sounds to me as a case of vanity that you are happy to see a label with XL that fits you from Raging Bull.

Maybe it`s a good thing that SDRY cater for those on Weight Watches rather than the obese, whom at at higher risk when it comes to COVID-19 etc. So maybe your better off keeping clear of the stock packed Superdry stores and remain in shielding.

JD at least he is putting his pocket money to good use,and why would he not want to take this private and make big bucks again when he next floats it in a few years time.

If this goes private, will that mean JD will have to offer to buy our shares or can he just take this off the market with us still shareholders. Just wondering is it worth topping up here or a waste of time.
