05/4/2017 16:11 | Looks like the GOLDEN EASTER EGG is locked in a glass box labelled JOINT VENTURE - SENIORS ONLY and Marcus doesn't have the key. Back to watching Lonmin fly. | romeike
05/4/2017 15:32 | is the dog dying ? | juju44
05/4/2017 09:31 | I'll have to agree with you juju, he's progressed nothing in 8 months and I'm not sure what they spend their days doing. It's not even as though we can call them to task at the AGM as there still isn't one pencilled in. All very frustrating. Still plenty of results form TS to look forward too though and it will be very interesting to see what finally comes out of the Pandora drill programme. | exbiz
04/4/2017 20:00 | He has had 8 months. What do you talk about for 8 months. he has really nothing else to do. This is a tiny mickey mouse company .Its not as if he is running BP . I give him 1 point out of ten and will consider a downward revision in a few weeks. Its all utterly pathetic | juju44
04/4/2017 19:28 | In dealing with Bahar, STI under Marcus is probably less of a push over compared to Bob, but it's any one's guess how much time he needs to sort something out. I would imagine both parties want to avoid the legal route. | novicetrade68
04/4/2017 19:06 | He is the perfect replacement for Bob . Both have received a lot of hero worship here but delivered only negative returns | juju44
04/4/2017 19:03 | Management firmly back in the bunker. Mr Englebrect put his head above the parapet to suggest he expected the Baha cash flow would be sorted within two months ( back in November). 8 months after joining the Company and no one has a clue what the strategy is. | steve1905
04/4/2017 18:55 | Bob for a knighthood - for services to industry | juju44
04/4/2017 16:16 | Back to square one!! | soulsauce
04/4/2017 12:37 | Next we will be hearing that Stratex is getting a loan from Paracale Gold too. :S | romeike
04/4/2017 08:32 | sorry I didnt dump this dog last year | juju44
03/4/2017 17:29 | so glad I dumped GRL last year | shavian
03/4/2017 17:03 | It won't be too much longer until the amount owed to Stratex exceeds its current market cap. | romeike
03/4/2017 17:02 | Yes, the worst thing for GRL holders here is that despite the low cash situation GRL was a "safer bet" than otherwise with Stratex patronage. I believe GRL were promised/expecting continued funding from Stratex, but with Stratex now in this seemingly never-ending, and frankly tedious, "impasse" with Bahar I think Emma has had no option but to put together this loan. Otherwise I think she'd have gone for a raising some time ago. On a positive note, this loan option could be better/less dilutive for shareholders in the long run. With GRL now on life support until September, it is even more important for Marcus to convince Bahar to release all of the funds due. | romeike
03/4/2017 17:01 | Yes there are a few clowns around but thankfully the new CEO is not one of them. Put your thinking cap on juju44 and wonder who may be behind all the 200k buys recently, even with the large 1.5m trade it was not possible to buy more than 150k of shares (worth £3k) on-line this afternoon. The JV partner must have sold over $50m worth of gold by now, the more likely some 'settlement' with Stratex is likely in my view. | tadtech
03/4/2017 16:43 | The fact that STI cant support GRL tells me Bahar have them by the goolies and will not budge. This is a developing bad news story but par for the course with this bunch of clowns | juju44
03/4/2017 16:39 | I don't think that the terms seem too bad provided the loan is promptly settled, it seems that they are doing a lot here to limit dilution, with much of it requiring GRL shares to exceed 2p. Directors are all taking shares in lieu of pay from prior to March up until September, so they have a big personal stake in this going right too as insolvency would mean they spent the better part of a year working for nothing. | romeike
03/4/2017 15:57 | This looks bad for GRL. The terms for raising money are terrible. No other shareholders are willing to put more money in even at less than 1p per share, presumably no new investors interested either. I guess if Stratex thought it worthwhile they would try to raise the money themselves and would get a much better deal, but this has not happened so they must think their own 100% projects are better value. | blobby
03/4/2017 13:27 | If the large sell this morning was because of GRL it would be interesting to know how they knew about it four hours before the RNS was published. re: STI, I suspect this is STI being unable to fund, STI has gone far out of its way to support GRL to date, no reason to back off now just as things start to move. STI strategy getting trashed as Bahar continues to delay pay-out of revenue due. re: Bob's other business interests, I suspect they mean of the bucket and trowel variety - it seems evident to me he has stepped down from GRL to make way for Paracale Gold to appoint a Non Exec. | romeike
03/4/2017 13:21 | I see Bob has stepped down as non-exec at GRL to concentrate on other business interests. Please don't let it be a position at TS. You wouldn't bet against it would you. | exbiz
03/4/2017 13:10 | GRL RNS Looks like Stratex not in a position/not willing to fund GRL's required drilling programme and will dilute. | kingivor
03/4/2017 12:09 | Big sell this morning, looks like someone probably sold their entire holding | romeike
03/4/2017 10:11 | Or even a GOLDEN EASTER EGG in the face?! :D That TURKEY is on its knees squeezing as hard as it can to deliver something in time for Easter | romeike |
