10/3/2017 13:32 | Unfortunately I believe that if Bahar were inclined toward compromise we would have already seen such a compromise agreed by now. | romeike
10/3/2017 13:17 | I wonder if they'll announce a compromise interim payment (on a different basis if necessary) whilst they sort out their differences. i.e. similar to before... | gamesplayer
10/3/2017 13:07 | Hi luminoso, Many thanks for the update in status and good luck with your other investments. I've always enjoyed your posts here so I hope you keep an eye on things and let us know if you jump back on board. My view (for what it is worth) is that I should not sell out whilst I think Altintepe is making plenty of money. It is time we had a payout, I know, but I don't feel like throwing in the towel just yet. Charles, good on you for planning to go to the AGM. | blobby
10/3/2017 13:00 | Vosene - are you speaking as a shareholder or as a critic, or both?By your reckoning it will take 3 years to achieve profitability which means there should be $15m profit to date. This means that if the business was wound up next week Stratex would be entitled to 45% of that, plus whatever they could get for 45% of the mine with its 35,000oz per annum production. Another way of saying the stock looks very cheap to me. | charles clore
10/3/2017 12:50 | First gold pour was November... Two twelfths of 45 million is another seven and a half million plus another eight million up to today. That's over sixty million, more than half is profit so let's say 35 million in the bank.Very simple sums but when the money comes it'll be a sweeeet day. | shortarm
10/3/2017 12:44 | Why do you think there is 45 million in the bank. Maybe that was the revenue for one year, but subtract the costs, it may take 3 years of mining to get 50 million in the bank and pay off the initial cost of the project. Key question is did Stratex strike a deal where money could be extracted before the JV breaks even, clearly they thought they did! | danieldruff2
10/3/2017 12:35 | With a market cap of just £7.5 million we could be in the ridiculous situation of receiving a bigger gold sale payment (when it eventually arrives) than the market value of the whole company. | exbiz
10/3/2017 12:33 | 45 million in the bank for 1 year... Plus we started before Dec and..... Another two months this year...Gotta be somewhere near that right!?? | shortarm
10/3/2017 12:30 | There needs to be about 50 million in the bank for the JV to move into profit! | danieldruff2
10/3/2017 12:26 | Silly spread now .MMs just protecting themselves | juju44
10/3/2017 12:23 | If Stratex get paid soon and TSR continues the great results the upside is massive......All about when we get paid now.... There must be soooo much money in the bank! | shortarm
10/3/2017 12:10 | I think any selling will be disappointed, not only at the price received for their shares but more significantly the upside that they will miss out on in the coming months | charles clore
10/3/2017 12:05 | The 200k buyer is nothing if not consistent. | gamesplayer
10/3/2017 11:28 | Good luck luminoso. Who could say it's a bad move? Stratex have been pitiful, they have withheld figures in order to avoid informing market of contract difficulties. An interview with the CEO failed to illuminate on the nature of the problem or likely timescale for settlement. On these threads there was much conjecture of big events taking place in the background, instead we got contractual problems. | steve1905
10/3/2017 11:27 | Good luck lumi, unfortunately my crimes are more serious and no chance of remand so I'm locked up in here for quite a while longer. I do believe we will see some good positive stuff soon though. | exbiz
10/3/2017 11:18 | Cheers Juju. Hope your investments go well. | luminoso
10/3/2017 11:15 | Sorry you quit man but who could blame you | juju44
10/3/2017 11:11 | Well that was my last 110k this morning. I have capitulated and taken my losses, only myself to blame. However, I feel like I am walking on air. Never again will I have to wait months for a STI announcement and then be deeply disappointed when it arrives. What a relief. Good Luck to all on here. | luminoso
10/3/2017 09:33 | Boom, boom, boom....New (mini) player or one of us topping up? | shortarm
09/3/2017 20:51 | Maybe to do with the expansion work? Stratex drilling, Bahar making things bigger? | shortarm
09/3/2017 20:51 | 190k ? Sounds like the BOD's salaries ! At least Bahar are committed to keeping them in employment !! ;-/ | luminoso
09/3/2017 17:28 | TS have been releasing results around the middle of each of the last couple of months and with drilling ongoing and drill cores already being tested with visible gold in them results could well be with us in the next week on a brighter note. | exbiz
09/3/2017 17:28 | Obviously it would take many years for any business to become profitable if it first had to earn enough to cover all foreseeable future costs. This would require a large degree of crystal ball gazing and is a ludicrous proposition. If this was the normal way of running a business there would be very little incentive to start one. It all seems so incredulous and that is why I am trying to get to the bottom of it. I will be writing to Marcus again and making a rare appearance at the AGM tory and gain some clarity | charles clore
09/3/2017 17:04 | Yes, and clearly what they two companies consider outgoings differs otherwise I can see no good reason for dispute | romeike |
