They have been saying that for months but the share does not move due to lack of coverage in papers/publications etc. It has been range bound for nearly a year despite the positive newsflow. I hope the results in sep bring a re-rating.

Seems a great purchase at 2.5 times PBT and will lead to higher margins,Hopefully
after the interims on the 9th September we,ll see a decent re-rating of STT.
Its got quite a good yield and a low PE but seems overlooked by the market

I think you,ll find that not all households have wheelie bins some are still using
bags and the bins in use do need replacing due to damage and theft,So there is
likely to be strong demand for some time.





I know the last link is from 2005 but could,nt find more up to date figures

Just looking in here - does STT have any recurring income at all? I'd assume not? I'm not very familiar with the company and haven't done a lot of research yet, but it seems to me (based on the amount of bins we have at home!) that the market is already saturated with bins for recycling and everything else, and those bins barely ever need replacing. Which just means STT have to keep finding new avenues for growth etc. Which is difficult for any company.

The water butt market is obviously much earlier stage.

Have I got the wrong end of the stick? If anyone could explain it would be appreciated.

yes there would be one this month but they hav,nt got a firm date yet

Hosepipe ban now in force. Weather to remain hot, more bans to come? No news on current trading as yet. News of a new contract would come in handy as things are a bit quiet at the moment.

There is going to be a hose pipe ban in the North west of England after the driest spring and early summer on record. Must be good news for straight, expect to hear news on how to save water as the hot dry conditions continue. Buy those water butts!
