20/6/2010 22:27 | Hope you are correct Jeanesy although the problem is that the retail side carries only a fairly small weighting within the overall group sales. Garden centre trade also a bit steady at the moment with too many folks staying at home watching football. | dibbs
20/6/2010 18:53 | Weather looks set to become very warm and dry next week. Retail sales must be doing very nicely, drought is just around the corner? reservoirs are very low, time to buy those water butts! | jeanesy

04/6/2010 07:25 | I hope so as everything looks good for this company and yet the share price keeps moving down days after a small move up. | jeanesy
04/6/2010 07:20 | jeanesy, looks like its about to move up, if it can clear 100 with good volume then it should be motoring ahead. doubt if there will be cuts in this department. the governement has to address recycling and waste management as this is an area that contributes to Co2 levels and councils are looking at ways of reducing the taxes they pay in landfill sites, currently at £48 per tonne but increasing every year by £8 EDIT: wouldnt be surprised if a contract is to be announced. hardly any stock available at 100p | ghurah
03/6/2010 15:45 | Weather hot and sunny again got to be good for business. The share price is not responding to all the good news, anyone know why? could it be the possible cut backs in council spending may affect the sale of bins? | jeanesy
31/5/2010 08:13 | Positive write up in investors champion. | jeanesy
28/5/2010 09:13 | Straight plc AGM Statement Straight Plc (AIM: STT), the environmental products and services group, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today at 12 noon. In his address to shareholders, James Newman, Chairman, will update shareholders as follows: "The Board is pleased to announce that the Group's Trade Business has continued to experience high levels of order intake during this financial year and that its order book remains at record levels. The Group's Retail Business is also experiencing increasing levels of sales, which are a direct result of its appointment in April this year as the sole supplier of compost bins to the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation. Sales are currently higher than in 2009 and the Retail Business is now making a positive contribution to the Group. The integration of the Helesi UK business, which the Group acquired in March 2010, is progressing well and to schedule. As a result of the continued progress being made throughout the Group, the Board is confident that its expectations for the full year will be met. The Company will provide a further update on trading for the first half of the year ahead of entering its close period at the end of July 2010". | extrap
27/5/2010 10:49 | Does seem good value at todays price of 92 and topped up 1000 along with some other small investors. | ashtree2
25/5/2010 20:04 | Unlikely given the last update, it's just the market. A good opportunity for those not in. I've got enough! | topvest
25/5/2010 18:46 | These have dropped way too low unless there is bad news to come | jeanesy
23/5/2010 17:09 | AGM next Friday. | extrap
23/5/2010 16:33 | Yes, absolutely! Looks like we might have a better summer for Straight and that could mean £xm of extra sales. | topvest
23/5/2010 16:29 | There has been no rain now for weeks, reservoirs quite low. Time again to buy those water butts! | jeanesy
21/5/2010 18:30 | Shares dragged down by market sentiment. Time to top up if I had the funds! | jeanesy
21/4/2010 19:33 | With all this nice weather around the retail side of the business must be doing much better - no rain, means water shortage , buy those water butts! | jeanesy
09/4/2010 14:32 | More steady buying. Heres hoping for a positive finish and good press coverage tomorrow. | jeanesy
09/4/2010 13:05 | 'The Group announced strong full year results on 23rd March and has issued a host of positive announcements over the past few months. In the meantime the share price has meandered in a relatively tight range. Following the results announcement broker Astaire increased their revenue and earnings forecasts for 2010 to £33m and 11.1p respectively (previously £32.6m and 10.4p) bringing it more in line with the house broker's own earnings estimates of 11.3p. We noted that these estimates didn't reflect the potential from the recent Helesi purchase and are now supported by today's announcement thereby offering further short term upside.' | extrap
09/4/2010 11:57 | Another 'buy' reiteration from Astaire Secs today. | extrap
09/4/2010 11:50 | Let it go mm's! | jeanesy
09/4/2010 10:31 | I'm thinking that the company has now reached the critical mass (with respect to contracts and forward visibility) for the next step up in a share price. I suspect we will see a break-out of the 90-110 range before too long... | the analyst
09/4/2010 08:41 | Some buying but the mm's are happy to keep the price the same, why? | jeanesy
09/4/2010 07:24 | Disappointing start. What does this company have to do to get recognised. !!! | jeanesy
09/4/2010 07:05 | Above 100p would be good for starters! | jeanesy |
