08/3/2010 21:28 | I like their approach to acquisitions - buying the trade and business from other groups to add to their portfolio of products, and better ability to distribute and push such projects. Doesn't look over-priced does it! | topvest
08/3/2010 19:11 | Seems good news to me , but very little change in share price. Surely a re- rating and positive move upwards soon? | jeanesy
08/3/2010 15:58 | Its certainly a good buy at a good price for STT and likely to add at least 500k to the bottom line for a full year,With a forecast of 10.85p EPS and a forward PE of only 8.8 without the aquisition it must be due for a rerating Straight ForecastsYear Ending Revenue (£m) Pre-tax (£m) EPS P/E PEG EPS Grth. 08/3/2010 13:28 | No volume and virtually no price rise....back to sleep again... STT certainly not a stock for watching the trades go through during the day! Dibbs | dibbs

08/3/2010 12:03 | Acquisition of UK business and assets of Helesi plc: Looks like a good deal for £1.65m. £0.75m of initial £0.9m funded by loan from Lloyds TSB - remaining £0.15m paid out of cash. Balance of £0.75m paid in 10 equal monthly installments of £75k. Helesi UK turnover around £4m in 6mths to end June 2009. | extrap
04/3/2010 22:04 | Lots of companies are doing it to beat the tax changes in April. Good news again here, as a final is also expected! | topvest
04/3/2010 21:03 | I missed that bit of news,Its not Ex Dividend until next wednesday so it won,t affect the share price until then.Unusual though to declare it so close to results. | kenatbabken
04/3/2010 20:24 | Payment of a second interim dividend. What is all that about? I have never seen this before. Especially when we are so close to the final results, why not just increase the final dividend payment? Any thoughts anyone? Why was there no change in share price? | jeanesy
28/2/2010 20:32 | Yes, should be good. Prospects also look very bright, with contract wins and a lower cost base. Still room to double / triple from here in time. | topvest
28/2/2010 20:27 | results due out on 23rd March. Any thoughts anyone? | jeanesy
18/2/2010 15:57 | Some lucky investor has managed to pick some up at 95p. | jeanesy
17/2/2010 15:39 | Quite a drop on a few sales. I would top if if I had any funds! | jeanesy
06/2/2010 16:38 | I bought mine at 65p 2 years ago, so bought too early, but now confident this is coming very good indeed. | topvest
06/2/2010 14:01 | More +ve comment from here: 'STRAIGHT (AIM: STT) Major Framework Agreement - the good news continues! 'Hot on the heels of a highly positive trading, environmenta | extrap
06/2/2010 11:30 | I bought a fair few under 30p. As with most have had success with this in the past and as a risk /reward play it seemed a real good punt back then. However that punt looks a fairly solid investment now. I took some off the table on the first spike over a pound, but will keep the rest. | the big fella
06/2/2010 10:22 | I know topvest I am one of those investors kicking myself. I have followed these shares for years and initially made a tidy paper profit only to see me lose it all and more. I eventually bailed out making a big loss. I wondered why it went so low , as the fundamentals seemed strong. I failed to re-invest last Jan and have only recently bought back in . Heres hoping i am not jinkxed ! | jeanesy
06/2/2010 08:58 | Hard to believe this went down to 20p just a year ago. What a cracking year they have had! They are still significantly undervalued. | topvest
05/2/2010 22:00 | Not much coverage on the recent excellent contract in the press. This company continues its positive updates and must surely head upwards once the markets turn more positive. | jeanesy
03/2/2010 22:04 | Anyone know if forecasts have been upgraded today on the back of this deal? Hard to imagine that forecasts will not change after what is a big deal for STT. Dibbs | dibbs
03/2/2010 11:39 | Thanks. It is of course only the cash position on one day, but that's the day they report so generally one assumes they do their best to have as much as they can on that day. The Harcostar money is a part of the story yes, but it's that integration and re-tooling spend which I'm not so sure about. Anyhow a company trading on quite a bit below 0.5 x sales in a growth market looks a decent bet to me. | russianlinesman
03/2/2010 10:54 | RL Off the top of my head I think they used cash in their purchase of Harcostar and then said they would need to spend cash on integration and re-tooling,I,m also looking for them to increase dividends so I can continue to hold for the long term.I hold 130,000 after buying another 20k more over the last few weeks, As you say the results should make things clearer | kenatbabken
03/2/2010 10:48 | Nice to see more solid progress, I like the management here | the analyst |
