09/4/2010 06:44 | jeanesy, let's hope so but I'm not sure it is the one that will break us out of this 95p-110p kind of range. Hope I'm wrong! Dibbs | dibbs
09/4/2010 06:12 | More good news today. New contract won! Expected revenues of £4 million over a period of 33 months . Surely we will see a rise from here! | jeanesy
08/4/2010 12:37 | Disappointing movement in share price after the positive update. Perhaps the nice weather will encourage people to but a few water butts?! | jeanesy
01/4/2010 08:13 | 'Trading on a modest prospective PE ratio of nine and with demand booming, the shares remain a green buy.' | extrap
01/4/2010 08:01 | Completion of acquisition of UK business and assets of Helesi plc | extrap
26/3/2010 15:07 | Still no upwards momentum in share price. When will the market catch on? | jeanesy
24/3/2010 19:42 | Let us hope for a breakout above 100p very soon! | jeanesy
24/3/2010 14:36 | Very positive four page report available free from Investors Champion: 'The recycling products and services group announced outstanding Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2009. Summary – huge progress in 2009' | extrap
24/3/2010 09:36 | Can't fault the progress & super statement. Clearly managing & more than meeting expectations and with confirmed 'bluechip' orders already well in hand for 2010 in a increasingly exciting'green'envir Surely we should see now a steady climb from 100 to 200 p, dividend progression and if not will not the acquirer become attractive to bigger players? Also a stronger share price will enable more deals surely with shares and conserving cash. As a consolidator and with world wide revenues and foundations with proven track record let's go straight up! Ludicrous that only now are we back to the original float price of many moons ago. | gelp
23/3/2010 09:44 | 'Buy', 'Hold' reiterations from Astaire, Panmure respectively today. | extrap
23/3/2010 08:04 | Indeed Kenatbabken. Sounds very upbeat after a quick read. Dibbs | dibbs
23/3/2010 08:02 | Every thing on track here,I,m looking for 15p EPS this year and 20p next year | kenatbabken
20/3/2010 15:32 | Been having a look at the Helesi deal to knock up some figures,If the sales are annualised I get revenue of £9.5 million and then apply STT,s margins to reach PBT of £913k, tax at 28% of £256k leaving net profit of £657k, EPS of 5.75p. There would have to be a charge for interest on the £750k Bank loan to deduct But even so its got to be a good deal and very earnings enhancing when fully intergrated | kenatbabken
20/3/2010 15:19 | Thanks for the coments. Who released the note 3 months ago? | strollingmolby
20/3/2010 14:22 | agree - I think forecasts could get raised substantially too. The divi news seemed positive to me too. CR | cockneyrebel
20/3/2010 13:53 | I agree. Momentum is building. In addition, part of Straight's business has been very adversely impacted by the weather. A good summer, we are due one!, would also give the company a big positive on water butts etc. | topvest
20/3/2010 13:47 | The forecast giving 10.85p EPS for 2010 are 3 months old and don,t allow for the contract win of £1.3 m announced on the 14th December and the contract win announced on the 3rd April worth £8 m over 3 years and the recent purchase of the Helesi UK business which generated in the 6 months to 30th June 2009 Revenues of 4.4 million euros and 300,000 euros profit before interest charges, After the results I think the Forcasts will be revised strongly upwards | kenatbabken
20/3/2010 11:51 | I was looking at STT last night in advance of the results, but my initial view was that it was probably fairly priced. Profits 'inline' with market expectations (Digital Look shows 9.33p EPS for the year) gives a PE of 10.5, and with only 10.85 EPS forecast for 2010 there's little growth predicted. I may be wrong about STT but the time to buy was when it was hovering in 40p+ range a year ago with great statements being made about growth. The recent Helesi acquisition may produce more synergies than the brokers expect, and perhaps there are European opportunities, but for now I'll watch from the sidelines. Does anyone think I'm being overly pessimistic? | strollingmolby
20/3/2010 11:12 | RNS 4 March 2010 'It is still expected that a final dividend will be paid in due course. The payment of a second interim dividend is not expected to be a recurring event.' | extrap
20/3/2010 10:54 | The weak shareprice has been my concern too. The trading statement said profits would be 'inline' where I was hoping for a 'well ahead'. I halved my holding after the trading statement to play safe in case the selling was informed. Results should reveal more on Tues. CR | cockneyrebel
20/3/2010 10:30 | Results due on tuesday. Strange to see price drop as surely the results and outlook is going to be positive. Does the second interim payment mean that there will not be a final dividend? | jeanesy
19/3/2010 07:20 | The results are next Tuesday the 23rd according to the last Trading update | kenatbabken
19/3/2010 00:05 | Results last year on 26-03 so STT has a chance of gaining some exposure very soon. Will the results and any forward looking statement be the catalyst for a move northwards after this period of trading sideways? Dibbs | dibbs
18/3/2010 21:53 | Me too and it seems like it can't keep above the 100p mark at the mo. Gutted I didn't top up more this time next time, although I could say that about pretty much every share I own. So much for hindsight eh? Good luck to all and see you over the £1 mark! | monkeyman2
18/3/2010 20:43 | Iam surprised to see this fall. Top up time if I had any spare funds! | jeanesy |
