let's hope this was just a shake to get some on the cheap ! but i see under 20.000 shares traded . most long term holders have forgotten they own these as they sit in the bottom drawer !

The drill is being conducted by Murphy Oil who are a substantial outfit. Does anyone have any experience of whether in the past information about their drills leaks out?
The big boys tend to control information fairly well and probably don't report until they have completed the drill which currently is on Day 50 of a 60 to 70 day drill.

Trouble is SG1 is right, sterling's news control is as leaky as a colander and always has been.

Usual form is to get a dip in share price prior to announcement of a dud. Actually, not sure what happens when there isn't a dud 'cause that's never happened before.

Its down today on very low volume (71000) so I don't think you can read too much into how the drill is going just yet. But lets keep a close eye on it.

I guess that news is out and its not a gusher, or someone is manipulating the share price.
God knows how I am still in this crock of sh1t.

888ICB - With multiple targets we could hear sooner.

My reading of the Bamboo propsect is that it is 450mbs in the primary target i.e. not including other potential payzones.

Information on the Murphy website has the drill at targeting 650mbs...

If they hit this will re-rate very quickly on those volumes.

As with many people on here I could do with SEY paying me back for the losses on Sangaw !!

SEY are now 45 days into a drill expected to take 60 to 70 days. So news in 2 to 3 weeks or perhaps sooner if they find something on the way down!

A little bit of volume today. Interest will pick up as the drill continues to turn. The drilling is 37 days into a drill expected to take 60 to 70 days so news may not be far away.

There some positive comments about operations and what they were doing in 2013. The current well will transform the company according to AB (if they hit) and gives a little bit of info about the clear and encouraging seismic done for Bamboo-1 which makes me think they are confident of success.
