I would be very pleasantly surprised with 2p. As encouraging as the updates have been I can't justify a doubling of the divi but WTFDIK. Am I missing something? For what it's worth I was expecting a smaller increase to say 1.25p and continued debt reduction.

I am remaining conservative and say 2p.. best to underestimate Big Increase in volume and prices recently , I am expected only a tiny debt remaining below $5m now Co almost debt free . Also cash flow increasing as interest costs / overheads reduced

While we're on the subject I wonder what the concensus here is for the dividend based on interims and preliminary info we already know. I am no accountant and exchange rates further complicate things here. On face value all seems well volumes, prices, market share etc.

Pressure is building here over quite a long time .. just needs the official RNS re divi & financials to blow this 35p glass ceiling away. Am still salting these away on a regular basis whilst off the RNS radar

The Chinese gauge is not unique to China, it is an international standard. Unless all Central Asian countries's rail gauges conform, trade between both sides will be severely hampered, which will defeat the whole purpose of the initiative.

The Kazakhs are rightly frightened of China, and will never allow a Chinese gauge railway across their landmass for fears the troops and tanks may come one day, a la Tibet, Xinjiang and the like, many Kazakhs live in Xinjiang and are in the re-education camps, and many ethnic Uighur s live in Kazakhstan, escaping the Han Chinese.

If last year's reporting date is anything to go by, Monday will be the last day to trade before results are published on Tuesday. Given the update on Q1 2019, I will be happy to wait fro H1 results and collect the dividend in the meantime.

China's circa 2 trillion dollar Belt and Road initiative was headline news recently with a number of heads of state, international banking corporations(along with Philip Hammond) attending a conference in Beijing, headed by China's president Xi Ping.

It was interesting to hear that the train that brought Kim Jong to Vladivostok, had to have its axles changed in order to be compatible with Russia's international rail gauge. A problem that also exists between Central Asian countries and China; whereby goods sent by rail between Kaz and China face delays of up to 5 days. This unacceptable delay can only be resolved by bringing the former into line with China's international standard gauge, which will require thousands of new cement rail ties replacing old wooden ones.
