It's not a dividend. It's not income for tax purposes. It's a capital reduction that is returned to shareholders. For tax purposes, your purchase price is reduced by the amount of the distribution, rendering more capital gain (or smaller loss) in the tax year when you eventually sell.

The company clearly flagged its intent & the proposal was passed at the recent EGM .... There is nothing to report other than the company doing exactly what it said it would do.

Zangdook,. If that is true it could be the brokers, bank, or anyone else party to the discussion. If you look at share price movements, it is not unusual for news to slip out, especially in smaller companies.

Much better the Group conserves and uses its own cash to fund the seasonality when it would otherwise have to pay 18-23% for loans
