16/7/2018 20:33 | I intend to top up at these levels if I can free up cash elsewhere. The fall in the share price of nearly 30% this year I can only assume is due to Lloyds decision to withdraw the capital SLA manage on behalf of Scottish Widows. The fees generated from managing this capital equates to 4.4% annual revenue for SLA and I can find no reason to justify the additional 26% fall in the share price Add in the 7% yield and proposed share buyback then the case for adding more to my portfolio becomes compelling. I'm well under water here but I don't want these to recover yet until I've added a few more. Just my opinion gentleman, no advice intended. wllm | wllmherk
16/7/2018 12:10 | Will look to add at well below 300 | dmf
16/7/2018 11:58 | I remember buying a huge amount of LLOY in March 2003 just before the Iraq War. Some foolish director swore they would not cut the dividend and they were yielding 9% at the time. LLOY rose 50% in a matter of weeks ! I don't expect SLA to do that well ! | chinese investor

16/7/2018 10:06 | I Topped Up At 307.7p. My Breakeven Price for my ISA Holding is now 380p. My Breakeven Price for my Main Holding is now 340p. My Breakeven Price for my SIPP Holding is now 344p. Ignoring Dividends ! | chinese investor

13/7/2018 17:45 | Wilksey1, this is an assumption on my part, which may not turn out to be accurate, but I assume there will be an rns stating that date for deadline and I also assume that this will be an advance notice of a future deadline (probably a week to 2). I'm only basing this on previous experience of a separate B share issue. If you're interested, look at the RNs releases for Empyrean Energy (eme) around October and November 2016. Again, there is no guarantee this will be an identical procedure here. | cmackay
13/7/2018 10:15 | does anyone no if there is a dead line for acquiring shares and getting the B shares thanks in advance | wilksey1

12/7/2018 09:40 | Also suffering as one of my largest holdings let's hope it's the bottom. | spcecks
12/7/2018 07:37 | One of my biggest holdings and the daily falls are causing carnage with my folio. I suspect it is due to AUM rather than the joint CEO's, the latter can be easily rectified. The loss of Scottish Widows will mean AUM takes a 17% hit, that is a lot in anyone's book. To be honest I wish SL. had never got into bed with Aberdeen, unmitigated disaster so far. wllm | wllmherk
11/7/2018 23:01 | The share price drops every day !, we won't see 400 this year at this rate | pal44
10/7/2018 11:58 | yes joint ceo is never a great idea. It should be settled with a wrestling match. | meijiman
10/7/2018 10:20 | The Pros are obviously giving the thumb down on the Joint Bosses scheme. Maybe this week Gilbert will, like T.May,be asked to consider his position while at the Golf in Scotland. Keeping your eye on the ball at impact is of paramount importance. | rabbrooks
09/7/2018 12:53 | And unbelievably lacking in growth of FUM, unfortunately. | its the oxman

07/7/2018 11:47 | One of the factors this week was a Broker telling clients that SLA was possibly overvalued at 330p.Next results will be keenly scrutinized as the likely savings post merger are examined. | rabbrooks
06/7/2018 16:16 | Lol on greater knowledge, very much a case of DYOR- had a very small amount of DLG below 3.28 today. Good fortune with your holdings. | essentialinvestor
06/7/2018 15:44 | They are, however SLA did not even make the second round of bidding on the mandate tender. Even ignoring SWI, there are multi year net outflows seen pre merger for SL and Aberdeen. My own take, is the best SLA may achieve is retaining a % of the mandate as a settlement - that view may be too optimistic. Regardles of SWI, they need to stem outflows. This is not just SLA, look at a 5 year chart of Invesco, Franklin Resources etc, it's a questioning of the active management model, and whether it's sustainable. | essentialinvestor
06/7/2018 15:23 | The loss of Scottish Widows is not a given, my understanding is that LBG and SLA are in arbitration. wllm | wllmherk |
