I don't know if there were a few panic sellers yesterday, or if a few stops got triggered by the fall?

The bottom line is that those holders are now faced with the dilemma of whether they buy back in now, or hope it falls back again.

With GGP at 29p (up from yesterdays close), NAV/share is 44p with GGP being worth 41.3p of that. So I can't see any reason SVE will fall back again significantly at present.

Buying at 27p would still be around a 40% discount.

Starvest PLC (LON:SVE), the London Stock Exchange
AIM-listed specialist mining and resources investment
business today notes the change in its share price.
The change closely follows today's movement in the
share price of principal investee company Greatland
Gold plc (AIM:GGP). The Company knows of no other
specific reason for the share price movement.

Starvest remains positive on the outlook for Greatland
Gold plc which is advancing the Havieron gold-copper
project with joint venture partner Newcrest Mining
Limited.

IMHO, Scallywag was just an extra nice-to-have. The GGP company maker always was Havieron, and nothing has changed there. I'm just gonna wait it out for it to recover.

Scallywag RNS out.
I think the verdict has already been given as SVE down 2p.

Let's see if there's another 50k available, but not going above 29.5p.

That explains it. Someone else grabbed 50k shares as well.

And there we go. As usual we lag any GGP move!

Good luck, hoping that this will realise true value soon too, often lags behind, with aau and ggp this should move north from here soon

Just bought back 50k shares after selling some in early December and taking a 100%+ ride on SBTX.

I was slightly pessimistic with my 31st December post. RNS out giving it as 54.51p/share.

Just a little care - there would be tax implications if SVE were to realise the value of its holding(s) - so the discount is somewhat overstated

My guesstimate for the early January 2021 RNS giving the portfolio value at 31st December 2020 is 53.8p/share. Buys at 32p are just over a 40% discount at present.

Official Mkt Cap is £17.8m at 31p mid. The portfolio is worth £31.0m.

True, this would be a great entry into ggp plus aau, should be north of 50p

Anyone buying these at 32p is effectively buying ggp at about 18p. Don't understand why someone doesn't bid for sve at around 50p. Let's see what 2021 brings. Yorkie.

SRP, my feeling is once we see what Scallywag is bringing to the table we shall see things start to heat up. Zoo

I feel with ggp in my honest opinion just going to continue
to rise this year probably to the 50p quite easily, it makes sve
a bid player at a serious discount, due to this a bid for sve
is likely as accessing exposure to ggp. Now if a bid comes in for
ggp then sve could ge to 100p.

I hold both and is part of my Aus3 2021 mno, ggp and sve.
