SRES going great guns again today. Could become another holding worth £1m+ soon, assuming we haven't been selling into this strength of course.

i would much rather stick a lump sum on SVE than play the individual companies, punters seem to be slow catching on here with the volume not that big.

The nice thing about SVE is usually one share or more somtimes are really motoring, whilst a few others having done the same are consolodating waiting for the next leg up.......RRR & RGM, together, then we have had spotlights on Sheba, Kefi, Franconia, Beowulf, at he moment Sunrise, perhaps before a return to an old star, or a new one.....always interesting.....Oracle I think might surprise a few, held back at the mment perhaps as PLUS listed, but I see great potential share price wise, I think Andrew Bell said it could get to 50p.

Just noticed Sunrise up 44% (Im in Asia just woke up!)



Looks like we're on the next leg up at last, I think we might settle about 20p ish before further moves.

There is no doubt that comodities will remain the hot sector in 2011 i fully expect SVE to go over 30p this year...

Good spot. I used eacn's list which was most helpful, but did have Sheba down as 400,000 as if the warrants were converted, so maybe he has done something similar with GIP I don't know. Fortunately most of the substantial(in cash terms) holdings are verified or have links in the header.

I will adjust to 1.5m shares....we do hold at 30 Sept as the annual report gives a write up on our holdings of which GIP gets a fair few words.

Have been trying to confirm the current GIP holding. In 2008 Annual report on p76 it confirms SVE with 4,500,000 (1.47% at the time):



In the June 2009 report it doesn't mention SVE in the top 20 holdings list which goes down to about 2.3m shares:



In the June 2010 report it doesn't mention SVE in the top 20 holdings list which goes down to about 2.8m shares:



I can only assume we have less than 2.3m GIP left if any.

EVEN oracle is sellable, we have it in our NAV at circa 5.6p and with it going to AIM I think the AIM price is more likely to be 8/9p but none of these little snippets are taken in to account.

As maxbubble says, the above is evidence that we could shift our RRR shares pretty readily for 14p+. This is the second batch RRR have issued recently so they are having no problem getting further investment, so there must be great confidence that such investments will pay off handsomely.

Discount should narrow substantially as quite a few big ones making up the majority of the market cap are now much more liquid. Its looks as if Bruce can deliver quite a few multi multi baggers so that as well should narrow the discount imv.

Looking at the graph and I remember stock was tight when I first bought you could only get 1000 online, it then went up over 2-3 weeks from circa 7.5p to 14p.
