14/12/2010 21:29 | RNS Number : 9611X Red Rock Resources plc 14 December 2010 RED ROCK RESOURCES PLC Issue of Equity Dated: 14 December 2010 Red Rock Resources plc ("Red Rock" or the "Company") announces that it has placed 2,666,667 new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each ("Shares") in the Company to a single institutional investor at a price of 15.0 pence per Share (the "Placing"). All valuations are based on the closing market bid prices or lower directors' valuation as described in the 2010 annual report. Other matters of note since 30 September 2010 are: Investment sales during the period have realised GBP586,690 and a gross profit of GBP416,690. Taxation has been fully provided for on the realised profits. GBP114,640 has been invested to add to an existing holding. The previous bank overdraft has been cleared, although the facility remains in place. Although values have fallen slightly since the announcement on 23 November, the overall result for the period is excellent and demonstrates that our patience is being rewarded. We believe that a number of our portfolio companies will continue to prosper during the coming year so look forward to further net asset value improvements in the months ahead. 12/12/2010 01:30 | oh I think 40% too strong. 30% is standard....so share price should be 17.5p at 25p NAV However I personally think 20% is more apt, hence my buying.....reasons: 1) Oracle moving to AIM....means that shareholding will be 20% better off. 2) Losses from the recent awful period for SVE, can be offset against tax. 3) We are on a recovery path now, although not certain most would agree the recovery has just started...They say mining stocks are cyclical. 4) In the money warrants, like Belmore's could add extra value, only found two lots of warrants we have so far, but I would think there are more. So at 25p NAV I think fair price 20p ..... at 23p fair price 18.5p fair price. | outsider
11/12/2010 16:02 | Outsider -thanks! That would suggest a poosible share price of 13.8 - 15.6 @ 40% discount. Here's hoping it's 26 or more! | mattboxy
11/12/2010 00:47 | mattboxy, I would hope around 23-26p NAV | outsider
10/12/2010 14:28 | And obviously as RGM hold nearly 30% of RRR, it won't hurt their price either! | zedder |
