Anyway i think the other large shareholders would have plenty to say if management tried that,i presume it would have to go to a vote, and the only way it would go yes is if shareholders would get a good deal.

Sandgrove are selling because they know the company is going to get stolen. Everybody knows this is dodgy stuff. You think all the other fund managers haven't looked at this and spoken to sandgrove. Why do you think there's hardly any institutions buying.

IMHO as Sandgrove sell a buyer has been building a stake as well as ordinary shareholders. No idea how many shares Sandgrove have got left but my guess they will be out before the next set of results due later his month.
Any else got other views?

Bri. The markets have been awful for some time, no dressing it up.. but it tends to be particularly bad most years as we run into the end of first quarter and new tax year approaching. Try give it until early next month and see. Maybe it picks up, maybe it doesn't. It has done a little some years. GL mate

I promise you if you do that, it's going to be one of the worst mistakes you ever make. Hang in there and thank me in 2 months time. I have been sat waiting for the last couple of years, have accumulated £300k worth a couple weeks ago and I'm extremely grateful that the price wasn't moved. I'm aware that I'm mopping up Sandgrove's shares but all the good news flow is right around the corner. Hang in there chap

Time to leave I think,£50K bought against £2K sells and share price down, complete waste of time investing,MM's supposed to make a market but all they doing is killing multiple small cap traders/investors,i selling up everything i got tomorrow, got to keep my sanity intact.

All the best for the test Star Energy, we are sure our harsh environment RG´s downhole memory gauges will provide you with the high quality data you are looking for.

comment ends

schlumberger have this to say about memory gauges..

Memory gauges are generally used to measure bottomhole pressures and temperatures in response to various production rates in tests to assess well productivity and reservoir performance.
....

must be successful if they are using a gauge to assess productivity and performance

Split looks a little tighter the last couple of sessions which is a good start imo. Looking forward tor results from the geothermal play to see if they're actually onto something worthwhile or not.
Judging by the share price action recently it will be quite the shock to the market if they are.

£50,000 buys and virtually no sellers and share price moves nowhere, this is deliberately being held back.
