I was rubbing shoulders with Gazza on Friday night.

We kopped for some (free) VIP tickets for sportsman's evening where we had a meet and greet and photos with him.

I have to say it was quite sad to see him not at his best. He really was a shadow of his former self.

Interesting analysis of Star Energy / IGAS - at 11.6p the video creator has a Price / Book of Star Energy of 0.2 and at current/today's new 52 week low of 8.52p the Price / Book would translate to 0.15!!! Unreal!!!

New low for STAR today - surely given the market cap / enterprise value management should institute share buybacks / or at least a tender offer for 10% holder that has been selling down in trickles... rather than divert cash to long gestation geothermal projects that the market appears to value at Negative NPV!!!!

EV/2P at 1.10p with a 8.51p share price... unreal!!!

they haven't specifically stated that they are up for sale, however, reading between the lines from what they have stated in their interims implies that a sale is the direction of travel for the o and g assets ...

Has there been a formal statement or an RNS (for example) that STAR's oil and gas assets are up for sale? If so, what does any one on tis board think they might go for? I was guessing that they must be worth around the current market cap of about £15 million. So, if they went for that much, we might see a decent jump in the share price
