This is a simple business not sure why the results would be poor. 70% of their business is food related, will people eat less food because of Brexit? Anyway hopefully see some weakness tomorrow with nervous hands and top up. Tried to buy another 10k on friday but did not fancy paying 156.2p

If results are poor then HR might take the opportunity - feels like a bit of a safety net to me. The other point is how much is priced in - I am quietly optimistic but could of course be wrong.

I think the results are secondary to the likely bid, assuming that they are broadly in line. This is a business plan story now rather than a historic Eps performance.If the outlook is stable I believe HRtech will table their offer within the week.

Results next week will be within forecast. They may beat the forecast though. Its possible they could come in below the forecast too.
