02/3/2017 12:44 | I was only jesting Roofer2! I think we know that results aren't going to shoot the lights out. The outlook and orderbook will provide the interest for me. | cockerhoop
02/3/2017 12:30 | Yes I got it wrong, I'm not in but that's life ! R2 | roofer2
02/3/2017 11:53 | Roofer29 Feb '17 - 21:28 - 311 of 325 0 0 Must be a massive seller or the MM have a very big overhang, if I was a buyer I'd wait till the 70p range, lots further to fall here yet IMO Let's hope nobody took your advice (from less than a month ago) to wait for 70p then Roofer :-) | cockerhoop
02/3/2017 10:39 | Could news of results have leaked, I was thinking with the record order books could it also be record profits ? Gla R2 | roofer2

20/2/2017 10:49 | Results are out in around 3 weeks, if the seller, possibly Henderson, has dried up a nice upwards swing could be in the cards, we know SDM have a record order book but does that mean record profits ? Gla R2 | roofer2
13/2/2017 18:41 | Broadly to me means up to 5% down from forecasts. What concerns me is the pound is approx 20% down against the hk dollar over h2 which will give a positive tailwind to the reported results yet they are still only "broadly" in line. | paduardo
11/2/2017 18:35 | FY results (mid March) are not going to be anything special and it is priced as such, but the outlook statement will be key. The search for a permanent FD does seem a tad prolonged though. | rp19
10/2/2017 14:34 | Deleted - Wrong thread! | cockerhoop
10/2/2017 14:26 | If they win (or lose) a Contract that affects the current market expectations then it has to be advised by RNS. If they win an expected Contract that is already factored in to expectations then it is at the Company and NOMADS discretion if to RNS or not. | pj 1
10/2/2017 13:39 | Roofer2, companies only announce contract wins when it is "material". That usually means large. SDM last announced a contract win worth £5m which I guess would have been about 10% of revenue. !0% seems to be a figure that is widely used. The absence of large orders doesn't imply no orders, just everyday ones. We were told in January that "With the order book at new record levels..." which seems to me to indicate no particular cause for anxiety. Full year results could be slightly below previous expectation as they were described as "broadly in line" but I expect the market has adjusted for this already. What lays ahead is still to be seen. | alter ego
10/2/2017 13:24 | Yes, Henderson started selling consistently is a big worry, where is the new contract news to back up record order books that SDM told us, surly an RNS should have been given to support that statement re new contracts ? Gla R2 | roofer2
10/2/2017 12:51 | Roofer2, There seems to be a marked contrast between your views on the company in January (Post TU) and those in Feb - any particular reason? | cockerhoop
10/2/2017 12:46 | I'm just wondering if Charlie will have a job in 4 weeks time ! With Henderson still selling it doesn't look good IMO lot further to fall yet before results in 4 weeks IMO R2 | roofer2
10/2/2017 11:42 | Just wondering about the pension scheme impact on results. | zipstuck |
