The shares and cost that Barclays have allocated are indeed final; I checked with them, and told them that I thought their communication on the subject was rubbish. I also asked them about the cash return and they couldn't tell me when it was due - apparently they had senior people in their corporate actions department trying to contact Stadium.

I found out that the cash was supposed to be coming back today directly from Stadium via twitter.

Cheers,
Steve.

Right, thanks for that; so I can probably assume the shares and cost Barclays have allocated are final and the balance in suspension will be returned tomorrow (or, knowing Barclays, Tue or Wed)?

Ah thanks Steve. Yeah it seems to have taken ages.

Apparently the company plan to return cash on the 28th August when share certificates are sent out. Personally I think they've hung onto it far too long.

Has everyone else had their open offer allocation sorted out? Barclays took the money from my account, up to my specified limit, on 10 Aug.

I've now been allocated my basic entitlement and about one third of the excess I applied for, but no cash has been returned to my account.

Is the final reckoning still taking place?

havent checked in here for a while but the co , strategy and share price are all moving nicely. very encouraging and i would suspect more to come ; still mulling a tad bout how much they paid for stontronics but shareholders are certainly supportive. peppiat seems a precise, focused and pretty smooth operator having watched his interviews earlier in the year. Continued GLA.

The Directors own very little of the company. Any concerns about their interests not being fully aligned with investors here?

Midas update...The electronics sector is vast, but Peppiatt has wisely chosen to focus on a few niche areas. The stock has had a hard time and investors may wish to hedge their bets and sell 30 per cent. But they should keep the rest..

Consensus earnings estimates are 9.3p to f/y Dec15, with 12.1p the following year (prior to this week's acquisition).
Market makers are playing a tight game here.....not a lot of stock around in my view.

I'm in for a few more today, SDM have a £1,55p rating, I expect a higher rating as the new acquisition figures will be on the low side than actually are, once take over is completed then you review them so could be earnings enhanced straight away plus cost savings and cross selling, simulator to United Wireless IMO

I was planning on buying more shares anyway so I applied for the amount I was planning on buying. Hoping to get them cheap. Realistically I expect to get scaled back to only a few shares.

Is anyone else planning to apply for the excess entitlement? Jut wondering what it might be realistic to get - 2000? 5000? Less?

A nice cross selling acquisition here, fits in nicely within SDM infrastructure.

As at 30 September 2014, Stontronics had net assets of circa GBP0.47 million, and generated an operating pro t of GBP0.61 million in the year ended 30 September 2014 from revenues of GBP4.94 million. (Note that the financial information shown for Stontronics is adjusted to exclude the garden furniture business that is being hived-out prior to Completion.)
