30/11/2018 22:10 | There is no significant volume in the shares traded, Glavey. What kind of stabilisation notice do you want to be issued ? There are 140m shares approx. 700k traded. It seems there are not many sellers of the shares. As goodapple says...we are back where we were.....nothing much changed....usd/gbp changed a smidgeon...and that is about it. In SRT favour admittedly. | yumyum
30/11/2018 21:06 | The share price is only back to where it was a few weeks ago. Today's photo has effectively confirmed SRTs success in the Philippines - it wouldn't have featured otherwise. I reckon it is the curtain raiser for an announcement next week. With contracts firmly in view one can hardly blame ST for a bit of stage management after all the stick he has had to endure from doubters.Onwards.... | goodapple
30/11/2018 19:52 | Shouldn't they issue a stabilisation notice? | glavey
30/11/2018 17:46 | LaValmy, I absolutely agree. It would be very good to kick out SRT's regional far too expensive competition. Good for SRT and good for the countries that sign up with SRT's much cheaper yet top-notch, adaptable, and ultimately superior systems offering. It is amazing to think the Philippines have over 200,000 fishing boats. If you add in the families and other associated businesses/families it is easy to see how complicated it is for a government to do the right thing, without upsetting voters. I can see the VSP in a year's time being £400m+ AFTER SRT have signed £75m of contracts. | yumyum
30/11/2018 16:30 | There have been lots of nice photos before - can't imagine that has caused this. It would have cost you dearly if you had piled in every time 'evidence' appeared to have appeared in a photo. More likely someone dodgy overseas has heard something imo given that there must be people involved in project approvals who are also aware SRT is floated on the market. Allegedly ;-) | yump
30/11/2018 16:21 | Indeed, a complex and delicate problem with very many of the world's poorest at risk. There does seem to be agreement that stopping the big boats from fishing in the inshore fisheries is paramount. This is within the ambit of the Philo project, but it will probably take some time for the benefits to be felt by the smaller fishermen. They have also had success with the seasonal closure of sardine fishing which has allowed both sardine stocks to increase and the stocks of fish that prey on the sardines to increase. | lavalmy
30/11/2018 15:51 | Thank you Billbyrne. Worrying news really. There is big urgency to deal with managing world fisheries. Overfishing basically. | yumyum
30/11/2018 15:30 | An article published today that tells you why action is needed on sustainable fishing in the Philippines. | billbyrne
30/11/2018 15:15 | All market makers looked cleaned out of stock right now. Not to say there will not be sellers ready to take profits (edit : and next week) My last tranche I paid 30.4 | yumyum
30/11/2018 14:36 | It is the caption that interests me - the parameters of the Philo project have been clear from some time, at least to those (normally) here, by which I exclude those spying on our C5 and others. There are two aspects that I find rewarding. Firstly, the ousting of the incumbent who has business in neighbouring countries and other geographies where SRT is in deep discussions. Secondly, the broadening in scope from the first 5,000 boats, to all fishing boats (with simpler kit?) to all vessels. The RADAR and CCTV serve no purpose otherwise. No point for SRT to mention how many fishing boats there are either. Though I doubt that either of these two points will be picked up by the wider market. The broker, maybe, who still hasn't re-iterated. | lavalmy
30/11/2018 14:20 | It has been an incredibly long, patient wait for all long suffering shareholders. To post a photo on the gallery with such a caption is a real tease. An obvious way of indicating nudge, nudge, wink, wink! It would be a great early Christmas present if we had news early next week. | crystball
30/11/2018 14:16 | FredFishcake, I also made a very modest top up, but now wish I could do more! lol | philburt
30/11/2018 13:54 | I am with you there FredFishcake... ...well done alter ego. And I am with you there on your comment about confirmatory news...to make your top up very well timed indeed. | yumyum
30/11/2018 13:35 | It's starting to look like my modest top up yesterday was unusually well timed. Just need some confirmatory news please Simon. | alter ego
30/11/2018 13:35 | I've been a shareholder since 2011 and still believe that one day this will come good. The problem comes with the definition of 'one day'..... | fredfishcake
30/11/2018 13:23 | When the market believes in the £400m+ VSP (and when we belive is some meaningful timescale, like 7 years?)...... Once a contract (or two or three) gets signed.... | yumyum
30/11/2018 13:18 | dirt cheap company at £40m mkt cap. Sterling weakness does no harm. | yumyum
30/11/2018 13:14 | That's quite a reaction to the posting of a picture of some fishing boats. | fredfishcake
30/11/2018 10:09 | Wakey, wakey! | crystball
30/11/2018 10:06 | If it is from the archive and a signed contract next week then that is fine. Let's see some of the other archived stuff signed too then. | yumyum
30/11/2018 10:03 | Let's hope it's not one from the archive. :) | sivadnoj
30/11/2018 10:03 | The tips haven't started yet. But they will shortly. | goodapple
30/11/2018 09:58 | buying on the back of a gallery photo :-) | yumyum
30/11/2018 09:51 | tipped somewhere? | pugugly |
