Yesterdays spike pulled back investor nerves.

"including House of Fraser we expect to be behind last year's result.”

So it looks to me like HOF is having a detrimental affect as Disco has said all eyes on results tomorrow.

To clarify and note forecast including HoF:"Excluding House of Fraser we anticipate we will be within our previously communicated underlying EBITDA growth range of 5-15% by year end, including House of Fraser we expect to be behind last year's result."So let's just ignore the significant detrimental impact of the HoF acquisition.......don't think so!.

His future son in law, daughter, brothers are all a lot richer than they used to be thanks to fat Mike and the generosity of SPD shareholders!.

Terminated"350p before results in July."Or August, or whenever but not 2019. Why would anybody be calling this at 350 over two years ago and still be saying the same now?.

I just don't know why MA didn't build on the very good business he had instead of going for these half baked ideas.

and doubtless he's withholding the results because they're simply too exciting to reveal and would be in danger of causing a massive spike!

Whilst I don't disagree MA is having a trying time of it, the fall in the Sp happened exactly the same on the last round of buybacks which I think were last year or early this year, as soon as the buybacks were finished the Sp returned upwards to over £3+. I assume the Sp was 'manipulated' downward so as to get the buybacks at a bargain price!

I read today that the appointed Newcastle manager was actually the 11th choice

But was the cheapest to appoint

Well despite the buy backs the share continues to decline, and I think it will do so and got a lot further to fall until more clarification on its results.

I suspect a profit warning coming.

It always looked like a clean sheet and I expect it will continue to do so but its all about how HoF is dealt with in the accounts I expect. Not that long to find out.

Here's a thought, what is something bad has been found in the accounts which should have been picked up in previous years?

Agree. But, where do you get they have bought back almost one million?.They had (a few days ago now) bought £9.4m for the latest BB programme, can't remember number of shares but not been buying at £9, pmsl.

The Markets are founded upon speculation. The sports goods market is far from secure being based largely upon over-priced, over-hyped discretionary goods, which will continue to come under pressure as the uncertainty of Brexit bites deeper and the high street chains become ever more unsustainable.

Yep, the share price continues to tumble despite almost a million of share buyback - without that take-up, the share price would likely be nearer 2 quid as investor confidence declines with the absence of the latest figures. That decline is likely to continue unabated, in the absence of overdue results, which when they arrive will need to be pretty decent to stem the collapse.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke!

Thought the current buyback was only £15m, so not holding the price up, that said the price isn't holding up!.
