Have a very happy new year with the kids & family.

My wife lost her mum suddenly a few days ago. Family is everything. It's often when they are gone that you come to understand that even more so.

I'm sorry to all the other people out there and I'll stop this war of words. But DD deserves it and I spotted his arrogance at a very early stage. I also live in Surrey in Onslow Road in Burwood Park. Have a look on Zoopla you sad person and guess which house I'm in. I don't lie.

The 270 was with reference to the trading range this has been in for the past few months. The 160 to 320 was tongue in cheek.DiscoDave4 - 08 Dec 2016 - 08:42 - 2749 of 3099 - 1Underlying eps 8.5p!!, even just simply annualising (H2 last year eps was only 63% of H1) gives 17p.........PE 12 is a paltry share price target of 204.I have posted openly that the fundamental business is very difficult to call but is a lot lower than its NTAV. Have also posted that you can throw numbers around until your blue in the face, the change in their business model here means all historic metrics are in many ways meaningless now........it's a punt now IMO, it's a positive move focussing on U.K. sports retail and upping their store image for third party brands but if they off load too much of their own brands in an attempt to become a sports "selfridges" then their successful model will be no more and they will struggle to change image........they will have to increase prices in the new year so I suppose upgraded stores rather than jumble sales will appease some customers when prices go up.DD

I don't have to defend myself old boy and I never hedge. I'll be opening the LSE with Brian Winterflood . My name is Marc Citron and you can do all the research you want you sad little individual . Now run along to another chat room and bore the pants of someone else. 31st January LSE open. Nice people in this chat room and you've changed the dynamics .I happily retired . Ring Winterflood and mention my name. I don't lie.

None taken. So when you predict a share price to double you mean from the absolute worse case scenario prediction and not from what the share price is currently at. Got it.

Disco on 15th Dec: 'from underlying business it's 270 all day long IMO'.

Explain the significant drop in your valuation over the those two days?.

Where did you get 160 from? I remember that was a Cannacord note which you took with a pitch of salt but then used as gospel in another post . If that's the case then you should go short but you don't really know what to do . Talk is cheap .

Disco, you said yourself on 17th December that you could see the share price being double in 5 years time...

'Interesting, just don't see this doubling in the medium term, perhaps 5 years or so but then it is all about being patient I suppose'.

Pretty much consistent with what terminated just stated above... 500p long term. So, you could probably answer your own question as to why, given that you agree.

Terminated - 19 Dec 2016 - 09:39 - 3012 of 3089 - 2DD alternative views are usually good but I prefer people to justify and substantiate their views otherwise there is no point. Re: Your last Post:Why is this going to be 350 to 500 longer term? The impact on underlying earnings due to falling sterling has been confirmed has it not?Have asked this before: Why did underlying profits drop 8% for the last FY despite increased revenues, pre Brexit / sterling?I assume that any views posted should be substantiated, so looking forward to your reply. The trouble with bottom picking is sometimes all you end up with is a right smelly finger! (e.g. MTC).DD

I can't see Spd pushing over £3 for a few months but longer term this could be 350p - 500p. The problem is no one really knows the full year impact on profits of the currency devaluation situation and until that can be worked out I can't see the market being anything but overly cautious.

Other side of the coin.
I have had superb service and experience online.
Latest one, ordering online and collecting from the Fareham branch.
Cant fault it.

Sorry to hear of your issues seguna, could be an issue with your credit card supplier.
It could show as left, but they can decline it if they suspect its being used fraudulently.
Not what you will wish to hear, as easier to blame spd, but i had similar few weeks ago with an order via vistaprint.... i was fuming at vista, but turned out to be my card issuer..
Try calling their customer support line would be my advise...

Good luck.

Imo ..... SPD = Strong Buy

A good investment to start 2017.
Expecting SPD to do well after the recent troubles and share price collapse.
On to the next level.
Better PR, good strategy, great starting point.
