29/1/2018 17:20 | Hello All, Legal & General Investment Mgmnt Ld bought 42 shares on the 26th!!! If this goes on I will be on I will put my shares up for auction, that should create a scramble. Is it the survival of the most patient here? as ever VZ | van zandt
29/1/2018 03:51 | With the insider sells around 80p I'm guessing they don't expect much more than this from an offer. It's possible a bidder will not get US regulatory approval. It took SPO a long time to get its acquisition of SG Racing approved. | nod
26/1/2018 19:59 | Quid would be fine.Easy 20 percentTry getting that in a bank account | trentendboy
25/1/2018 15:54 | No idea but given the date and apparently closing window for bids we should know soon enough.. | noujay
25/1/2018 15:49 | What percentage chance do all of you out there have of a sale of the business at a premium to current share price. | dtaliadoros
25/1/2018 08:46 | Hello action,,,, someone bought ONE hahahahahahahahah | o1dsmokie
15/1/2018 21:52 | I don't understand the point of many of these transactions. Blackrocks's position remains the same each time. It transfers In and Out the extract same number of share. It seems they have to report these net zero transactions each time.I noticed Trevor Hemings reduced last week, selling 160k at 80p to take him to below 2.5%So, he's not expecting much more from a sale.We are in the last half of January. The finish line is in sight :) | nod
15/1/2018 14:46 | Well said! | noujay
12/1/2018 08:21 | I agree that it's not certain and likely to take a while although we should expect an update from SPO in any event. The sooner the better. | noujay
11/1/2018 20:33 | I would not be surprised if the target date of end-January is missed. This is not a simple business to sell due to the US regulatory approval required. There may buyers who would pay more for those US licenses but don't know if they would get US approval. It's like selling a house to conditional buyers. It can be a very long process. SPO is much bigger and more complex than a house. | nod
11/1/2018 17:39 | Any small move suggests insider knowledge of a bidMight be spreadbet time...???? | trentendboy
11/1/2018 14:28 | End of January 2018 for tabled bids in the last update so one would hope for some indication of progress shortly | noujay
11/1/2018 10:40 | God what a bore! | o1dsmokie
05/1/2018 10:35 | Bit more action in the trading with those late reported ones. Hopefully some news soon on a deal | noujay
04/1/2018 23:15 | In the 6 November RNS I spotted that SPO had in fact sold the remainder of its NYX shares after the results. We lost a couple of mill by selling just before the offer for NYX came along. Ah well. "the Group has disposed of its shares in NYX Gaming Group realising a further GBP2.3m of cash as against a carrying value of GBP1.3m." | nod
04/1/2018 14:28 | Thanks Nod very useful. | finkie
04/1/2018 09:25 | In its 6 November trading update, SPO set a target date of end January. "UPDATE ON STRATEGIC REVIEWThe Board has set up an internal task force to consider all options available to strengthen the Group, assess numerous innovative opportunities for further growth, and ultimately deliver a Group that is capable of delivering sustainable returns or a significant capital return to shareholders.Formal Sale ProcessFollowing preliminary approaches to acquire the Company, Sportech initiated a Formal Sale Process on 19 October 2017, although naturally there can be no certainty that an offer will be made. The Company has engaged with interested parties, has executed several non-disclosure agreements and will be providing selected parties with access to due diligence information and management in the coming weeks. This initial round of discussions is expected to conclude by the end of this year, with a timetable for seeking offers by the end of January 2018. The Board will update shareholders further at the appropriate time.Parties with an interest in making a proposal should contact Canaccord Genuity through the contact details set out at the end of this announcement. | nod
04/1/2018 09:17 | If there was only one interested party it would be over more quickly. On 19 October, when announcing the sale process, SPO wrote: "four of which have made preliminary approaches to acquire the Company."To get a good price at auction you need at least two keen bidders. | nod
04/1/2018 08:22 | When does this sale process conclude? We could do with some news and a takeover here now! I don’t like this mapped out route, good takeovers for shareholders generally come as a surprise! | finkie
27/12/2017 21:38 | Nice. Will have to check my account. Plenty of places to invest it. | trentendboy |
