25/9/2013 10:02 | Now I'm no expert, and call me Bob Suspicious, but it almost looks as if this share is being artificially 'held' at this level, a bit like a share which is underpinned by a bid (e.g. Invensys). Not sure why it has been so 'stable'. The last time it was this steady was at a low in January 2012 following which it bounced upwards. The last trading update didn't inspire much confidence, but I'm optimistic about the future and think the share price has a long way to go. I'm a holder at 57.5. | bertie bee2
23/9/2013 16:42 | lol Intoo.. and within 5 minutes! However Kames increased their holding significantly (unless im reading it wrong!) Situation previous to the triggering transaction Number of shares 13,225,000 Resulting situation after the triggering transaction Number of shares 15,448,453 So they added nearly two & quarter million!! (2,223,453) Wouldnt be surprised to see more RNS releases as even that represents only a fraction of those huge trades last week. | rumbers2
23/9/2013 16:32 | There you go rumbers2 your wish is their command an increase of 161,000 by Kames Capital, hardly millions but a step in the right direction. GLA | inntolife
23/9/2013 15:17 | Nearly a month now without so much as a single RNS. Yet we all know something's going on behind the scenes and changes are afoot, with millions of shares changing hands. The very least i'd expect to see is an II reveal a large acquisition or disposal of shares. In the absense of that, we will all have to wait until the next trading update in just over three weeks on 17th October. | rumbers2
20/9/2013 07:39 | this is holding out quite well lets see if 65 is the next level GL | plastow
19/9/2013 13:56 | ... but for the time being it is more or less welded to 65p. Some big share 'transfers' going on in the background. Stake building or stake selling? Either way, it's not shifting the share price. | bertie bee2
19/9/2013 10:18 | sp should start heading north @ this prise they are very cheep i think £1 is on the cards very soon. lots of building work going on, the company must be indemand. watch this space | stockrod43

18/9/2013 07:29 | There's been a lot of 1,000,000+ sells going on last few days. Though the share price hasn't budged really. Anyone know why? | priteshpatel9
12/9/2013 11:31 | There were 2 trades at 9am ish of 1 million shares each @65.0p, both shown as buys. Strange reaction. | llwyd
12/9/2013 10:29 | Certainly plenty of volume. | skinny
12/9/2013 10:21 | over 8 million traded so far at 65p. I have no idea whether these are buys or sells. There's a few jittery sellers out there, someone's just sold 83,000. | rumbers2
12/9/2013 10:06 | big trade of 1.4 million at 65 came on screen any idea date for update ? | jaws6
12/9/2013 06:59 | VAGUE BID SPECULATION By Ben Martin 7:26PM BST 11 Sep 2013 Speedy Hire attracted vague bid speculation after the shares rose 2¾ in heavy trading volume to 65½p, its highest since May 2009. Cooler heads suggested that hopes the equipment and tool rental group stood to benefit from a recovery in the construction industry were driving demand for the shares. | rumbers2
11/9/2013 15:11 | thanx fingers. In fact the 67.5p figure made sense to me, as it would represent a clear close above the 66p resistence, and signal we are definately on our way north! | rumbers2
11/9/2013 15:09 | Thanks I am just feeling a bit flipper sorry flippant | solarno lopez
11/9/2013 15:03 | Rumbers, My post was to highlight the fact that, as far as I was concerned, a 'confirmed' move into its 'upper range', had occurred with the 'close' above 62.50p. The 67.50p I mentioned, was a typo error, and should have said 62.50p, sorry for the confusion. | fingers xxd
11/9/2013 14:51 | After that there is the gap. | skinny
