Speedy Hire attracted vague bid speculation after the shares rose 2¾ in heavy trading volume to 65½p, its highest since May 2009. Cooler heads suggested that hopes the equipment and tool rental group stood to benefit from a recovery in the construction industry were driving demand for the shares.

thanx fingers. In fact the 67.5p figure made sense to me, as it would represent a clear close above the 66p resistence, and signal we are definately on our way north!

Rumbers,

My post was to highlight the fact that, as far as I was concerned,
a 'confirmed' move into its 'upper range', had occurred with the
'close' above 62.50p.

The 67.50p I mentioned, was a typo error, and should have said 62.50p,
sorry for the confusion.

Not posted on here for a while as not much to say......until now as SDY is back up to test the recent high of 66p so a break over is very bullish for the longer term.
