i wasn't trying to knock spsy
the point i was trying to make is that the bbc made it sound like an amazing new product but the fact is that spsy already make a similar product though made from a different material
maybe some one should point that out to the bbc and they will do a feature on spsy

That is really not that relevant. There are literally hundreds of existing technologies for brand authentication and there are stories like this in the papers a few times a year. The chance of this being a working product any time soon is nil. The opportunity in China for example is not because the Tech that SPSY have is better than anything else I suspect but because they have managed to get some decent contacts in the industry over there. This will not have caused the seller I am sure. The fact that it went up from 20p to £1+ in less than 8 months might though. I am in for the ride and fingers crossed

A few things that caught my eye.

Reversal candle yesterday after several falling candles without interuption.
Reversal coincided with the 50MA
RSI(14) is low and bouncing off a rising trendline.
Volume this morning.
Good risk:reward (recent high compared to yesterday's low)

Negatives:
This recent low is lower than the corresponding dip the opposite side of the recent high.
There is still a gap below that could fill which would lead to a test of the 100MA
A fall below yesterday's low would point to a short term downtrend.

Charts are very subjective though so others will see it differently.

I also bought some today at 88p, wasn't aware of the tip, I bought because I like the chart set up for s potential reversal which popped up on my radar yesterday evening.

Never said they hold 1m shares(they hold many more)I said they just bought 1m at 100pHargreaves also buys for discretionary clients!!Surely that what they do? Either take money in and invest it or they buy for discretionary clientsSame thing to me..just s difference where the money is held!!Just don't understand why they would not buy more on a 15pct fall

You keep saying that Herald have 1 million shares but didn't the RNS state that it was for discretionary clients - wouldn't this mean that they don't hold themselves in their fund?

We all knew that this ran up too hard and that 100p we were fully valued short termHowever how can herald invest 1m quid at 100p and not buy more at 85p??!!No wonder the clever ones don't leave these people any money to manage!!
