The Board anticipates that the interim results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2017 will be released on 5 September 2017.

I have a current and valid W-8BEN Form and i still got taxed 30%. I did get in touch with the broker but got nowhere! So i'm going to try and get the 15% back via the UK self assessment tax form.

Hi. I am with IG for my trading account and they deducted 15%. That was because I had a Ben W8 Form with them. If you had one in place it should be 15% if not 30%. Juts for info my SIPP had the amount paid with no deduction which was great

Morning,

Does anyone hold SPSY in Hargreaves Lansdown Share Account or ISA Account?

If so can you confirm what percentage of withholding tax was applied for the recent dividend, 15% or 30%.

The broker i currently have both ISA and Dealing holding with have applied 30% so i'm looking to transfer, preferably to H&L.

D.

don't like buybacks either unless the share price is at a huge discount to nett assets they only seem to help the privileged few
US foreign shareholders lose 15% of their dividends which is a pain but it is all about the capital growth and potential earnings story here
half year results should with earnings projections

The only acquisitions should be small immediately earnings enhancing ones in the existing business. The last 3 (especially the last one) have been very good. Indeed the last one meant no increase in staff and a payback time of less than a year !

The company is so small staff wise that it would be scary to take over anything largish as that could easily divert time away from the current excellent progression.

By the looks of it, it will be possible to pay the current dividend from cash flow in the future, without having to draw down on the current cash. No problem with that as it provides a good back stop for the share price - and some income !

No point in a Dividend then either if you prefer an acquisition?

I'm not a fan of share buybacks, but I wonder in this case if that would be the better course of action, to (hopefully) alleviate the 30% tax burden from any Divi's, as the share price appreciates?

We'll I'll be more than happy if they're closer to your numbers than mine. I know they're way above forecasts but I don't hold much weight to them in situations such as this one.

Full year forecast (of sorts)

Not sure whether they'll decide to go with an interim dividend. Though I'd prefer it I have a feeling they'll keep with their stated intention of once a year.

NTV, well with them stating they will pretty much distribute all profits as dividends what sort of figures have you been coming up with? I'm pencilling in 6-8c after the last statement. Not very specific I know, but after the recent update I don't feel I'm being overly optimistic.

I suppose we'll have a better idea in two weeks time.

Hi Kilt, I hope you're ok and very pleased hear that you and many others are making plenty of money. I'm very sorry that I haven't had the time to respond to your message and many, many others but I'm just fantastically busy and I've only just returned to the UK. I seriously do not have time to post these days as I'm involved in a load of projects that are taking up all my time and focus so I'll just make a few quick "pit stops" over the next few days before disappearing into obscurity once more.As always plenty to say and I just hope that I have the time to say it all.

Best Wishes To All

Much Love

i am just wondering, that with things going as well as they are, will we get a interim dividend this year. the figures i have worked seem to be well ahead of most comments on the company.
i think a few people are in for a surprise and i just hope it is not me !!

Very little surprise forecasts beaten. I would expect the same to occur again later in the year. Should start to attract some momentum players in due course. Especially if these trials work out. Upside will be massive.
