Surely the chances are it's something to do with the inventory write offs?

Fair enough I spoke to the 2 old FD regularly. This one I've never spoken to and not heard wonderful things so I think she just wasn't up to the job . I'm not worried in the slightest although yes I understand yours and the markets concerns.

You're probably right Nico, just my past experiences with things like this might have made me over-sensitive!

If the FD wasn't up to it I think it's ideal she has gone.

Long time watcher here. Good company, however this is hardly ideal. No thanks for efforts, and 'to explore other opportunities ' which I'd say roughly translates as she hasn't got a job.If it's just a case of a fallout then a good buying price. But it's enough to raise an eyebrow, though probably not enough to be a red flag.

Doesn't it just add to the general concern about corporate governance and the lack of senior support around Nabil? The next appointment needs to be right and someone who he can put in front of shareholders. It does seem excessive though and now yields 6% even with the stronger pound.

Dont think I have seen the departure of a non board CFO cause such a slide, unless there were suspicions of dodgy accounting going on. But with the likes of the FED and DOD having oversight I find that hard to believe in this case. And have backed that up by picking up 15k at less than 165p. A price I didn't expect to see again. Let's hope it is just a storm in a tea cup ...

Yes but he left last year and the replacement has left so when the new one starts that will be 3 in under a year. Market clearly not like it - let's hope that the large buyer is around to take advantage of the price drop

But she was recruited by Nabil so if not well regarded then that was a poor selection. Not a good look to keep losing FDs alongside the continuing failure to hold an AGM. They keep providing reasons for people to stay clear. Having said that I suspect the finance role at Spsy is not that commercial or strategic

I don't think she was highly regarded so not a factor.

But he should also have told to that DLAR only have 5% of the global polymer note market

Just had a Twitter exchange with @fwyburd who attended an SPSY WHI presentation on 21-Mar-23. He quotes Nabil as having stated "polymer note market is growing at 18%CAGR, paper notes at circa 3%"

So, my assumption that DLAR are just making up facts to suit themselves may have some basis in fact.
